We booked one night at the inn because it was one of the only places close to where we planned to snowmobile the next day. It turned out to be the nicest room on our trip. The room was clean and large. The property is beautiful and on a lake. They offer many activities to go along with your stay. We stayed in January and we saw sleds and snowshoes to use and they turned two areas into ice rinks for skating. It seems to be more of a summer draw though. We saw canoes, water tricycles and many other things stored for use on the lake. Upon leaving my wife and I both agreed it would be a great place to spend a few days in the summer.

Friendly, courteous & welcoming staff. Pride of ownership is evident. Great stay & highly recommended for anyone looking for a great escape! Awesome!

I traveled all the way from Burlington to Haliburton, took me around 4 hours. As soon as I reached Bonnie Inn, I was in awe. This place is a hidden gem in Ontario. I checked in at the reception, and I mentioned that I wasn't able to get the room with the Jetted tub, but to my fortune I was told that I was upgraded to the room with the Jetted tub. I was simultaneously told that there was no power in the rooms due to an outage (I am surprised that the rooms aren't backed up with generators in case of such outages) and was told it would be back by 6pm. I was excited about the jetted tub and rushed to city to find some bubble bath. Right after shopping for the room, I was given a call about the accidental room upgrade. Given the fact that I did double check that I was upgraded for the room with the jetted tub, I was really disappointed with this kins of unprofessionalism. To make up for this, I was given free breakfast that was already an "buy-one-get-one-free" offer. Forgetting all these issues I still tried to enjoy the experience, but at 7 pm I was told that they weren't sure about the power and I could stay or leave if I wanted to without any charges. The fact that had to drive 4 hrs back at night, did not seem like a good idea as I am still a new driver. They provided blankets as my room did not have any firewood. My wife and I were left expected to sleep in the cold room with a candle light. Moving forward next day, no power yet and I was told it "might" be back at 4pm. We

Rustic charm with friendly staff Nice location. Quaint room. Fireplace was nice. Bed was comfy. Front desk personnel were friendly and accommodating.
