Ho scelto questa struttura perché l’albergo che utilizzo normalmente era indisponibile. La valutazione che ne traggo non è complessivamente positiva. Non appena arrivato ho notato un fastidioso odore di sporco in camera, nonostante, apparentemente fosse pulita. E’ bastato aprire il coperchio dello split dell’aria per capire la ragione: era letteralmente lurido. Mai vista una cosa del genere: i due filtri avevano uno strato di sporcizia talmente stratificato che faceva capire che non era mai stato lavato da anni, né tantomento sanificato per impedire pericolosissime colonie di legionella. In effetti, la stessa mancanza di attenzione nei confronti della pulizia l’ho notata anche all’ingresso. La struttura è abbastanza nuova ed è veramente un peccato che sia trascurato in tal modo un particolare così importante come la pulizia e soprattutto la sanificazione. Fortunatamente il pernottamento è stato solo per una notte.

Sono stata in diversi hotel della catena, lo standard è sempre quello, un buon compromesso tra qualità e prezzo, senza troppe pretese. Diciamo che la differenza la fa l'attenzione che ci mette chi gestisce la struttura. Qui purtroppo mi sembra sia mancata parecchio...uno dei due cuscini del letto era evidentemente sporco di sangue sul cuscino, non sulla federa, me ne sono accorta per caso. E non parlo di una macchiolina, ma di più macchie ben visibili. Impossibile quindi non essersene accorti quando è stato fatto il cambio, sarà stata macchiata anche la federa...Non è accettabile lasciare un cuscino così, qualsiasi sia il budget dell'hotel! Inoltre ho trovato il personale alla reception poco cordiale (un sorriso e un po' di gentilezza verso il cliente non costerebbero nulla). Ci sono molti hotel dei dintorni, quindi consiglio di optare per altro se potete.

If you know what is good for you, avoid this place. Price and location are good, yes. But check-in is horrible. Took us more than two hours after what turned out to be mistakes on the side of the hotel. So what should be an afternoon at the Christmas markets, changed into an afternoon of showing payment proof and getting “but it is not paid” in return. Rooms are neat enough, but stink enormously of cigarette smoke. Leaving a window open no option as you’re right next to a railway. So all in all, skip this one and try another!

Check in was tough, as we arrived around 22.00 and the reception was closed. You are meant to use a code to check in, but we never received this. We called the emergency contact number and they helped us right away. The room was lovely and clean. It faced the train tracks, but we couldn't hear anything. Great location and easy to get around the city. We did ask for an extra duvet/blanket, but it took about 7 hours to get it (first request was made in person at 9am). We asked the receptionist 3 times and ended up getting it when we coincidentally heard the housekeeping team in the hallway. They had not been made aware of the request, but they were very helpful and brought one right away.

well-located B&B not far from the airport and train station. Reasonably priced for the area. The rooms are rather small but good enough if you are planning to spend here 1-2 nights. Also not far from the main shopping area of Dusseldorf with an Uber only costing 5-6 euros to get there.
