We were very satisfied by stay in my home guest house. Owner was very nice and room was comfortable. We'll come back to this hotel if we will visit Durrës again !

Absolutely incredible! I came in the off season and had a choice of rooms (I went for the smaller room as I was travelling solo) The family are all so lovely, they speak good English and have a mini library so you can swap out any books you have read. They have a full kitchen for shared use and give you a key to the gate so you can come and go as you please.

We really loved this place. The owner and the family are so helpful and charming, and they took excellent care of us during our stay. The beach is just a couple of minutes’ walk away, and there are restaurants and shops in close proximity. Highly recommended.

Ornela and her family where all so great! Ornela helps us with booking wine tasting and taxis and restaurants and a lot more. The rooms are simple but very nice and clean and there is a kitchen where we cooked most of our breakfasts. The hose is a bit hard to find since there is no sign on the main road but with some help from our taxi coining there we found it easy (you take the road on the left side of the restaurant TheGrillfather and then you see the sign on your left. Nice yard where we ate our breakfast and som sunbathing. The house very close to the walk beside the beach walk and in front of that you have a nice beach with soft sand and sunbeds that you could rent for 5€/day. Great place!

My girlfriend and I are digital nomads traveling for already 7 years, and we decided to go to Albania - Durres, We checked some places online, and we decided to make a reservation at that place called Guess house. Online it said we booked it for 2 rooms and they also said the "hotel" had a swimming pool. First thing we noticed as soon as we arrived it was the swimming pool was a small portable pool for kids and the water was dirty. There was no check in desk, so the way to check in it was a person asking us from the third floor If we made the reservation. Anyway, they gave us only one room, and the internet wasn't working inside the room, we had to continue working even at night because my clients are in another time zone. But next morning when I was at the middle of an important meeting, the owner of the place came to me yelling about cant have my meetings in the common area. I couldn't finished my call because she was yelling, and she decided to keep doing that everyday I had a call, she was playing her music loud next to me to sabotage my calls. It was unprofessional, and definitely think is not a good place for digital nomads or a nice holiday.

Really upsetting stay, I have never been assaulted like that by a hotel or the family who lives there. We originally booked this hotel as it said it has a 2 bedroom room and a swimming pool. The room, in reality, is only 1 small bedroom and a shared kitchen, and the internet didn't reach our room. The pool was also a kiddie pool, but to be polite we didn't say anything. It's not really a hotel, just a big house, so it feels more like a hostel with private rooms than it does a hotel. They also didn't come clean or give us fresh towels or anything you would expect from a hotel. A few days in the cleaner/owner(?) started to yell at us in the afternoon for having a business call in the common area, as the internet doesn't reach our room. She and another guy (maybe her husband?) were yelling at us and she even raised her hand at us like she was about to hit my partner. We felt really threatened as we are trying to do work and instead got yelled at. We still had a few more days at the hotel but they refused to give us a refund and so we felt very awkward and unsure of what they were going to do. Please book at your own caution.
