It bit slow to be booked in as I had to join the queue for the bar but once I had key soon forgot the wait Beautiful presented clean cosy quiet felt safe as a solo traveler . Lovely additions to the room with the little extras . Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Popped in for coffee and cake this morning and was not disappointed. Delicious lemon and poppyseed cake and a huge cappuccino for a very reasonable price. Lovely setting and welcoming service, thank you! We will definitely be back in the future

Any aspiring hotelier, hotel inspector could learn a lot from this superb inn. Room spacious and comfortable with everything you’d expect plus a nice touch of bottles of water and bag of crisps! Also best shower we’ve found on our trip. The pub itself is also excellent. Good atmosphere, excellent choice of beer and wine, superb tasty food and very welcoming landlady. This really is what an English pub should be. Sad I could only stay 1 night. Wish it was my local. Dunstable villagers very fortunate.

We arrived on Saturday 25th November and were quickly shown to our chalet style accommodation number 5 by a very helpful gentleman. The room was well equipped with tea/coffee and bottled water and had a decent sized wall hung television. The bed was fairly comfortable and we had a peaceful good night's sleep. There were a few minor things we were slightly concerned about.... The shower door was a struggle to open/close and when opened can hit the basin. There was a little bit of mould in the shower and the water wasn't very powerful however we enjoyed our stay. We left the following morning early without breakfast handing our key in as we left. Ideally situated for Lincoln and Woodhall spa, the former being 7 miles away. A lovely pub with nice accommodation in a pretty village. Visited 25th November 2023.

Clean, comfortable self-contained room opposite the pub. (No 1) Twin beds and plenty of space. Hangers/storage etc. Separate bathroom with shower. TV. Kettle/coffee. Ideally convenient for the pub. Parking right outside the room too. Friendly landlord & staff. We were having a post-wedding family get-together drinks for circa 35 people in the pub. Aged from 8-70. Looked after impeccably by Megan throughout the day. A total star. Hardworking, efficient, and dealt with all requirements with a smile. A credit to the Red Lion. Friendly locals too. Great day and a very pleasurable stay. Will definitely use again.

You need to update your opening times on Facebook! Very misleading information on there at present regarding your opening times. Link on Facebook to your website doesn't take you to the right place either. Very disappointed to find out closed after our walk this morning.
