多格洛伊水濱飯店(Waterfront Hotel Dungloe)

Muy buen hotel en Dungloe, con todo lo necesario para una cómoda estancia, una gran habitación con una cama muy confortable, un buen baño en un ambiente tranquilo. El desayuno excelente, se aparca dentro del espacio del hotel. Todo perfecto.

This hotel needs some TLC. The safe in the bedroom doesn't work. You cannot make a phone call from the room phone. The room is very small and basic and squashed up. The rooms are not soundproof. The breakfast selection is not great, however the eggs & bacon served was good. The furniture in the bar/restaurant is old and damaged. Very basic cleaning done in the bedrooms. Overall experience was just OK.

We stayed here for two nights while travelling round Ireland. The hotel is a modern building with great views across the bay and Dungloe, although otherwise it is a little lacking in character. It is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Dungloe We stayed in room 202, the O’Leary Suite. This was very good, with a huge amount of room, split between the bedroom (with views) and a lounge (overlooking a rear car park) The bed was extremely comfortable, while the bathroom had an efficient shower. Unfortunately, the 106 Atlantic restaurant was closed while we were there, so we ate in the Bar/Bistro. The food was good (particularly seafood, including oysters), but the style and service was more like a bar than a bistro (one waitress complained she had too much to do), so didn’t seem to fit the aspirations of the hotel. Apart from this, service was polite and efficient

Had a wonderful experience at the Bistro restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was just lovely and cooked to perfection, and very reasonably priced. The views were spectacular. Would highly recommend the Waterfront Hotel the staff really are a credit to the hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in the Waterfront hotel and really didn't want to leave ! It's been years since we last visited the former Ostann na Rosann. And whao were we overwhelmed.Firstly there is such a warm engaging atmosphere amongst all the staff regardless of role or position.Sadly many hotels are unable to offer this .The team was headed by the super efficient Martina who was really helpful on menu choices, table options and could easily explain the origin of many of the food products on offer .. And into the food - it was exceptional.We dined two nights and enjoyed fabulous seafood in both nights .The crabs claws .mussels and oysters were beyond our expectations and could rival any of Belfast's finest restaurants.Equally my husband had the burger as it looked so good from one of our neighbouring diners .And again it was exceptional So we leave now having thoroughly enjoyed our two night break and are planning our return Thank you to all the team

Had a lovely stay, all the basics were great, good bed, hot water, nice breakfast (lovely porridge), lovely bar food menu and good value. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definately visit again. Just 2 small things, in the Suite, i forgot body lotion and you would expect some extras in the Suite like lotion, biscuits, coffee machine, the bath towels were small (thought there was a bathrobe), the bathroom shelf was so high I never noticed it until I went looking for a shower cap. There were no instructions or guide for the hotel, I did not know how the phone worked and I needed to know the breakfast times. The step in the room was also tricky. Loved the Easter decor and the lovely art works. Thank you

Anniversary Weekend Break in Donegal. Used the hotel as a base for playing Golf. Lovely hotel our deluxe room was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar and the meal was delicious and good value. We will be back. Mary and Ger

We had a great time in this hotel. The staff were amazing especially Gary and Tia in the bar, and Mairead and Caitie in reception. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, from the house staff, to breakfast, dinner and bar staff. The hotel was a great location for us as we enjoyed plenty of walks. Shops and other bars were nearby but we stayed in the hotel as there was good entertainment. Food was great, plenty of options to choose from and a great selection of drinks. Breakfast was very filling and there was plenty waiting for us. As the chef said, you are better looking at it than looking for it. Staff in the mornings were really helpful and pleasant. There were plenty of sofas and chairs available in the reception area if you are looking a more chilled atmosphere away from the bar area. The room was cosy, comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back.
