We stayed 1 night in hotel. Booking via internet was very easy. Hotel is located in suburb and has large free parking. Reception is friendly and helpful. Room was clean and space was sufficient. Next to hotel restaurant for food and breakfast and that was all good. Was quite busy in evening. All in all a good stay

I highly recommend this hotel for shorter stays due to the lack of storage space for luggage. However, we had a great time as there were many great points. The beds were super comfy, the pillows too and the bath was amazing. Lots of hot water The windows open so if you like fresh air, you'll be happy and the views from the back of the building are good.

One of the best premier inns I’ve been to great location and Meghan who was on was amazing was always there to greet you unlike other premier inn s usually no one to be seen but was great to see a smiley face and nothing was too much of a bother either only negative was tv reception wasn’t that good overall fab!

The welcome of the staff at this hotel was fantastic, the hotel was clean and comfortable, car parking was very easy and the quality of the food and drink was great. This hotel is really easy to find and the people very friendly . The room was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. the hotel has a charity donation for a book which helps a local charity and is a great Idea.

Stayed here on Saturday night on a family trip up to Dundee for the weekend. You can’t really go wrong with a premier inn, this hotel was better than anticipated. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, room was excellent and spotlessly clean. Room was all set up for is coming, as we have little one cot was set up(other times we need to remind them after we arrive). Hotel was extremely quiet and we all slept very well. Hotel location was great, has a coop about a 20 second walk door to door which is ideal, plus there are loads of places to get takeaway food next to the coop as well so your spoilt for choice if you need something to eat. There is also the lovely pub next door to the hotel that you can use. Would happily stay here again on another family trip up to Dundee.

Myself and my husband came to stay at the Dundee East Premier inn near Broughty Ferry on 17th November for a few nights. We had asked for a room suitable for a disabled person. We found the room to be rather nice, however we did have a few issues with the heating, the television and lack of towels. I went to the Reception desk, and the receptionist - Graham - could not have been more helpful. He was truly wonderful and extremely patient in explaining to myself and my husband, how to operate the television and the best way to set the heating for a comfortable stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his manner was always so friendly, polite and down to Earth. Premier Inn should be proud of having staff of this calibre. Well done and keep it up. Hayley.

Having stayed at this particular hotel several times in the past, we were hugely disappointed in our last stay. On arrival we noted the TV was not working properly and asked if there was another room we could move to. The staff member on duty could not have cared less and said the hotel was full although this was a lie as there were rooms available to book online of the same type. We also had no bath mat or hand towels in our room and had to request these from reception, not a huge issue but lack of attention to detail. The hotel is in a great location, nice and quiet with plenty amenities nearby, but the lack of customer care is unacceptable and we won't be returning.

I made a booking last night for the 23rd of August in your Dundee hotel for £59. When the booking confirmation came through it was for the 18th. Not what I had booked. When I called the hotel they said they could not change the booking and I should call central number but they had experienced issuses with booking system. The person I spoke with offered to make the change but charged me £113 as they said it was the last room. I told her I booked for £59 and that online the price shown was £59 at that moment. But she insisted that the price on her system was £113. Not a good experience or how to treat customers.

Travelled here for 2 nights and made use of breakfast deal with bar next door. Breakfast was good value and couldn’t fault service ect We decided to have evening meal on our 1 st evening and booking recommended as gets very busy. Plenty parking Local shops co op and a few take aways Food can be taken to rooms or if weather permits a few tables near by We quickly checked in and room was on ground floor with window looking onto beer garden Because it was a lovely day people were making good use of this facility and open until 10 pm Unfortunately the tables were directly outside our window and we felt we had no privacy and had to close curtains upon entering the room A visit to reception and Graham quickly sorted out another room on 1st floor I believe the hotel are aware of the issue and perhaps could come to an arrangement where maybe some hedge screen or similar could be installed Thank you Graham for quickly and without fuss saving our break We would return if we could request 1st floor

This premier inn was clean and well presented, with comfortable beds and friendly staff. It's also well located, only a 5 mi utensils drive from the centre of Broughty Ferry and 15 minutes from Dundee. The only thing that let it down was the breakfast. It was in the bar/restaurant next door (bar quite limited on drinks). Unlike other premier Inns, it wasn't a fresh machine made coffee but a pre-made pump action coffee dispenser. And it tasted like it had been there for ages. Also, the table containing the continental options was tiny and it wasn't refilled very quickly as the staff were run off their feet. Not helped by one man (must be a regular as the staff knew him by name ) arriving with a large sheet of tinfoil and packing away 8 pastries for eating later. Hotel decent for sleep, but skip breakfast.

Had a fabulous stay here for 3 nights . Very clean . Staff very friendly, informative and accommodating . Great car park, plenty spaces. Room good size . Double bed and sofa bed . Co-op , chippy , domino’s , kebab shop literally on the doorstep if you need it . Would definitely recommend this place and so much around it for families ( inflatable park if you have kids )

Rigid 3 o’clock check in and only one towel per room, not per person. Absolutely ridiculous and man on reception was not suited to work in hospitality.

Friendly staff who remembered us from our last visit. Clean rooms. No hassle check in. All our needs were catered for when requested, car park was busy but there is always room to park. Nice choice of snacks and also the shops over the way give the hotel added appeal.

Stayed recently for a trip and would recommend to anyone! Very clean hotel and excellent staff, both Heather and Graham at reception were friendly and helpful with some local information on travelling around the area. Great choice if looking for somewhere to stay in this area!
