Tolles Hotel, sehr schöne Anlage aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, sehr sauber und geräumig, sehr schöne kompakte Küche, Lage perfekt mitten in der Altstadt und trotzdem war es ruhig und entspannt, Sanja, Jon und Mariana waren absolut Top, sehr nett und zuvorkommend

My wife and I stayed three nights in January 2025. We chose this charming SOBE because of its highly rated reviews on TripAdvisor, Google and other sites. And it turned out to be the best choice I could have made. Clean and attractive rooms, comfortable air conditioning and floor heating, wonderful kitchenette, fabulous interior design. And of special note is the kindness of the owner, Jon. He provided us with a variety of information prior to my stay, and tat check-in, he told us about the old town and gave us some restaurant recommendations. Enjoying Dubrovnik and relaxing in the evening in this lovely room, The Byron made our trip an unforgettable experience.

Spectacular place with luxury zen like atmosphere. Close to everything but feels quiet and tranquil. Worth every penny. Staff are wonderfully attentive and the Kawa store just outside the Ploce gate is a must visit! I loved the fact that they could store my crazy big suitcase in the store without me having to lug it.

A little different from a hotel in that the Byron is a set of rooms in an old building without a front desk or any on-site staff. That might not be for everyone, but if you are ok with that you will almost certainly love this place. Very charmingly and uniquely decorated. Quiet rooms despite good location in the old city. Great owners. Highly recommend.

Sehr schönes kleines Gästehaus inmitten Dubrovnik old town. Ich wurde von Jon im Kawashop sehr nett empfangen. Er hat mir einige Tipps mit auf den Weg gegeben bzgl. Frühstück, interessante Orte in der Altstadt und Restaurants fürs Abendessen. Von dort aus habe ich erstmal die Altstadt erkundet. Es ist alles fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Gegen Mittag konnte ich dann in mein wunderschönes Cathedral Zimmer einziehen. Mit dem Gepäck wurde mir geholfen. Pro großem Gepäckstück zahlt man € 10.- vom Kawa zum Gästehaus. Das Zimmer ist, wie auch das gesamte Gästehaus, sehr schön renoviert und eingerichtet, geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt um sich wohl zu fühlen. Super bequemes Bett und schönes, kleines Bad. Das Gästehaus liegt am Rand der Altstadt und befindet sich in einer Seitenstraße, nahe der Kathedrale. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen sodass man Nachts hervorragend schlafen kann. Eine kleine Badestelle befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Altstadt lässt sich von dort aus hervorragend erkunden und man hat es am Abend nicht weit zu den Restaurants und Bars. Vielen Dank Jon. Ich komme bestimmt wieder!

Stayed in the Cathedral Room. It was lovely, well-provisioned, and an incredible base for our explorations. Sanja and Jon were amazing hosts, starting with a walking tour as we made our way from KAWA -- their intriguing store -- to the tucked-away-but-close-to-everything refuge of the Byron. Exactly as advertised; would happily return!
