Best breakfast ever! Hotel staff helpful and wecoming. Arranged for taxi when checking out. Perfect location: quiet, attractive neighborhood but close to Grand Canal Docks as well as shops and restaurants in town. A very nice restaurant and pub on site where we had dinner every night

My wife and I have just spent a few days at the Schoolhouse. The room has plenty of space and the housekeeping team do an excellent job. Despite the hotel being on a main road, it’s very peaceful at night. All meals we had there were spot on, and it’s just a short walk to the cafes, restaurants and shops. There’s also free parking. Great find!

Excellent hotel - friendly, helpful staff; comfortable rooms and beds; welcoming common spaces, including breakfast room and bar. Quiet part of town, next to walking path along canal, but easy walk to center and sights - and the hotel itself has interesting architecture and history.

We stayed last Friday night while attending a concert at 3Arena, what a lovely little hotel! My sister, daughter and niece, we all loved our stay. We were warmly greeted at reception and the excellent customer service continued throughout our stay. The bar is lovely, the food was delicious and it was within walking distance of the concert. The rooms are quaint but recently renovated and super comfy. This is a small hotel but that has many advantages, it wasn’t overcrowded, it was quiet but still had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were professional and attentive. I’d definitely stay here again, really looking forward to returning some day, thank you x

Beautiful old building turned into a lovely inn. Very clean and well maintained. Outstanding friendly service and a fantastic breakfast. Great location, too, as it's close enough to walk to the interesting spots but far enough for a peaceful stay.

Très belle découverte ! Nous sommes allée manger le vendredi soir. Le bâtiment est magnifique et l’intérieur est sublime ! Serveur au top et très aimable ! Nous recommandons le poulet en croûte (photo joint) L’ambiance est au beau fixe !

If you are looking for charm, this place is it! Loved our stay here. The restaurant is EXCELLENT! Just be sure to make a reservation beforehand as it does get full. The room we stayed in was so cozy and beautiful. Must stay if you are in Dublin! Walking distance to lots of places.

Had lunch today; supposed to be fresh hake; it was grim. Tasteless reheated breaded fish, tasteless fries and a sad piece of broccoli. If McDonalds or Subway had tried to foist this on me I would have returned it. And for 21.95 Euro. Never again.

This remodeled school is a delight. The rooms are modern with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. Our room had a beautiful view of the garden and it was amazingly quiet despite being in a city. The breakfast was delicious (try the eggs and smoked salmon!), and served in one of the large old schoolrooms with the dark, gorgeous wood ceilings. You'll find an equally delicious menu in the pub with all fresh ingredients and a nice outdoor sitting area amidst old tall trees. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Within walking distance of the channel, the Dublin Docks, Trinity College and the National Museums. If you are looking for a boutique hotel with charm and character, you won't find better! Highly recommend!
