As we arrived here is what happened: If you arrive early please be aware that if you want to keep your bags secure you have to pay-in itself it’s ok (it’s the first time i ever live that in a Europe country). Here is how they do the pricing: tow bag 3 euro, quills paper bag with 2 post card 3 euro, carry on bag 6 euro, basically every chance they have they charge. It totally beats the purpose of a youth hostel in a big city. They totally abused. Most part of the staff is helpful and nice. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. The included breakfast finish at 9:30. The water of the shower is a push button that last 5sec. The water of the shower depend you can either burn in hell with satan himself or freeze your bottom with frosty and Elsa. No in between. The bathroom are equipped with a energy saving device that close the light after 5min of no movement that means that you will take a dump in the dark or shower in the dark, if it’s your trip you will enjoy it. Kitchen is big and sometimes dirty depending on who went there. In any case it’s a clean space it’s just big and impersonal.

Établissement propre proposant de nombreux services qui ne sont pas toujours mis en avant sur le site donc de très bonnes surprises. L’accueil est chaleureux et un service de sécurité est mis en place la nuit.

A very nice hostel bang in the Center of Dublin. There were some issues: some toilets/bathrooms running out of toilet paper, there being few bathrooms in general for how big the place is, and they charge €3 for towels. But I’ve stayed twice now, and the rooms are always clean, the beds comfortable, the staff friendly, and they have a nice continental breakfast included with the price. For an average of under €50/night to stay in the heart of Dublin, you can’t beat it.

The hostel has a lot too offer with a hammock room, game room, restaurant, free breakfast, and kitchen. It was unfortunate our stay was marred when they decided to expel one of our roommates at 4:00 am. The commotion woke up up everyone and we didn’t get to sleep for hours. The woman they kicked out said she’d thrown up in a toilet. They could have waited for morning. There was a mixup because they didn’t make clear we had signed beds. When we went to leave they only allowed my wife back to get our food from the kitchen and we lost several items. They also made us, a couple of senior citizens carry our bags up and down several flights of stairs- and I was recuperating from an operation and my wife has shoulder issues.

Pretty good hostel. One of my favourites so far. Stayed with my sister in an 8 person room. Was a bit of a mission to climb all the stairs with big bags. Much like any other hostel. The ammenities we very clean, however the showers were extremely hot, almost burning. The walls were well painted. The rooms were a large size. The hostel has good breakfast included. They also had good cheap activities for everyone to participate in. Great location.

Stayed at Abbey Court for 2 nights 17th & 18th May 2023, had a 6 man room for 6 friends travelling together. Incredible value for money: This is my 1st time in a hostel at the age of 50 & I'd definitely come back. Great location, mega friendly staff, all areas really clean , especially the shared facilities ( toilets, showers, kitchen etc ). Everything you need for your stay is here. If you forget a towell, charger, padlock, you can get it all from reception really cheap. Also, free continental breakfast, toast, cereal, cheeses hams etc, nice start to the day if you're on a budget.
