費茲帕特里克城堡飯店(Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel)

The location is good and hotel needs updating, the carpets and hallway look outdated, the rooms service was leaving only two large towels even though there was 3 occupants in the room, the staff were very helpful, the chef/kitchen is poor, long waits just to get chicken fingers and chips, the menu is over priced for what you get, (portion are small for the price) we got cauliflower soup and it was like water and the soup bowl was not even warm, we only eat there once and had appetizers on our last night, I would stay again if the price was right but I would not eat there unless there is a big change with the restaurant chef, the breakfast was traditional Irish, not much of a fresh fruit options unless it was all taken by 9am when I came down for breakfast.

Everything was wonderful and the staff where the best, especially Sophia at the front desk. So patient. Also the gentlemen I met at 4:40am waiting for the bus on Tuesday April 4th. The Castle needs some updating regarding the outside.

Started off bad when reception had not recorded the changes to my itinerary. Room was shabby, really showed its age. Went for dinner and burger was pink in the middle. Changed for a fish pie, but taste was poor. Woken by fire alarm twice during the night. Attended a conference at the venue the next day, they really took advantage of the captive audience, charging €8 for a plain sandwich that you'd return in a shop if you'd paid €2 for it. Very disappointing.

We only stayed one night as this stay was the end of our 17 night around Ireland trio. Would have loved to had stayed multiple nights. From our arrival through our departure all staff were so incredibly engaging and were dedicated to making our stay wonderful. Upon learning that the couple traveling with us were having their 27th anniversary that night, receptionist checked rooms and for upgraded the anniversary couple to a beautiful sea view room. We dined in the hotel restaurant and the host checked on us numerous times, gave us recommendations, and seemed genuinely committed to ensuring we enjoyed our meal. Rooms ant the entire hotel are lovely and very comfortable. We had to check out early morning to get to the airport and staff was so pleasantly chatty as well as quick to help port our luggage to our car. The hotel grounds are large and secluded so makes for a very peaceful stay and extremely convenient free parking. A wonderful first class stay for all of us.

Great stay! Walking distance to Killiney Hill Park and Dalkey's main street. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Our room had 2 fans already in the room which was perfect as it was very warm. Easy parking in front of hotel. I would stay here again.

Large resort-style grand old hotel filled with friendly staff. Multiple drinking and dining options on premises including afternoon tea. Full athletic gym & pool, salon, all walking distance from Dalkey and the water.

Busy night because of the bank holiday but staff was very helpful and accommodating
