we thought its a traditional irish pub, and yes, it is… but we didnt had the same unique feeling like at Kehoes, Stags or Brazen Head. It seems it was buikd up for tourists. Prices are sick, over 10€ for a Guinness pint which wasnt tapped that good as it should be. Music was nice, sound wasnt.

This is the best place to stay in Temple Bar - fabulous people, great apartments and the location can’t be beat. Comfy beds, good water, well maintained, new elevator. 4 older women and we felt very safe Thanks for helping to make our Dublin experience the best it could be! And it was very quiet even though we overlooked Fleet Street

Great Place to stay with friends. Clean and organized. The location is a plus, heart of Temple Bar area. The staff is really friendly and ready to help anytime. Reception 24/7. The breakfast is free and honestly, the best I ever had comparing with other hostels.

Gogarty's is highly recommended because of its great location in the heart of the Temple Bar area which is also convenient to many other locations such as Molly Malone's statute, Book of Kells, Trinity College, Dublin Castle, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Dublinia. The staff was very friendly as well as helpful with our various questions. We were in apartment #4 which is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom and it was perfect for my family of 4. It was rather roomy with a living room with TV and small kitchen/dining areas. It also comes with a balcony. For our 4 night stay, I heard some crowd noise late on Saturday night at about midnight but it was minimal (I was the only 1 of the 4 of us who heard anything) and it was the only one night. The bottom line is that you just can't beat the great location, good price and helpful staff.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet établissement en chambre de 8 personnes. Auberge de jeunesse comme on les aime avec beaucoup de jeunes, une cuisine pour se faire à manger, un réfectoire commun, wifi gratuit. Le petit déjeuner est offert (céréales, pain de mie, jus d'orange, café, etc). Les personnes de l'accueil sont sympathiques et l'ambiance y est très bonne. L'auberge se situe dans la quartier de temple bar (musique, nombreux bar, restaurant, magasin, etc).

We had a brilliant time here from start to finish. The gentleman on reception was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great and plentiful. I was a bit concerned about the noise mentioned in other reviews but we didn't experience this. We all slept well. It's in a great central location where the atmosphere is buzzing. I would definitely stay again if back in Dublin.
