Ho soggiornato qui (nella camerata) mentre percorrevo la West Highland Way: la casa è graziosissima e curata nei dettagli, la proprietaria mi ha accolta con entusiasmo, presentandomi subito agli altri occupanti della camera e offrendomi té e scones. Credo sia il migliore benvenuto mai ricevuto in un ostello! La camerata era spaziosa, con un grande tavolo dove sedersi a socializzare con gli altri ospiti, i letti confortevoli, c’erano asciugamani a disposizione degli ospiti e abbastanza prese per ricaricare i dispositivi elettronici. Dalla camera si accedeva ad un grazioso cortiletto. I bagni pulitissimi e abbastanza spaziosi. La colazione, compresa nel prezzo, era gustosa e abbondante. Insomma, non avrei potuto desiderare di meglio e sicuramente ci tornerei!

This was a beautiful place to stay. Perfect for our walking tour. Francis was so welcoming and the scones on arrivaldevine. Room was warm and comfy, breakfast pleasant.

This was the first stop for my sister and I on the west highland way. Fabulous welcome with tea and scones. Room was so welcoming and clean. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and lovely to meet fellow travellers

What a great place to stay. Unique in that it used to be a church. The worn stone steps and the stained glass windows made it a unique place to stay along with the proprietor Frances who made sure I didn't miss out on her welcome snack of scones and local jams. Frances was also full of West Highland Way knowledge and reccomendations. I slept in a bright and airy unisex dorm room of bunk beds on a comfortable mattress and sheets that had been dried on the line. I love that smell! Breakfast was included in the 35 pounds and we sat on pews around a large table and helped ourselves to French press coffee, orange juice, toast and jams and marmite. A selection of cereals, yogurt and fruit was also available. I would highly recommend staying here. There was a couple also staying who had a private room and breakfast.

We stayed in the Kip in the Kirk after hiking the first leg of the West Highland Way. Francis greeted us with tea and homemade scones - the best scones of the trip. The rooms were comfortable and the common space was great for all of us to recount the first day.

Nice wee kip Had a great few days stay. Frances was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area and happy to point us in the direction of walks and places to eat and drink. Thank you.
