MORNING GLORY BED AND BREAKFAST, VENTERSTAD SOUTH AFRICA. A charming and quaint bed and breakfast on a stud farm in the middle of rolling grasslands. Lynette was a consummate host and provided us with our victuals with such detail and thought. Our first meal was a BBQ with lamb, boerewors, and a skewer of chicken with superb salads and dressing. Beds were comfortable and the place was pristine. Breakfast was an array of fresh fruit, muesli, and a really tasty frittata. Coffee on the go, we were refreshed for the journey ahead down the Garden Route to Cape Town. Highly recommended

Really great value for money. The host was incredibly friendly, had dinner ready for us with table set and everything. Went out of her way to go the extra mile. Super clean, good amenities. Really a gem! Will definitely come back everything we need to make this trip again. Definitely recommend!

Out in the country with good well thought out complimentary items friendly staff and well maintained. the peace and quiet gives one peace and the fresh morning air is good for the soul. We recommend the stay.

We were so surprised at how nice and quiet this farm was. The rooms where so clean and there was everything you could need in the room. Lynette was such a stunning and friendly host. The pre packed braai packs and salads were delicious. Wood at the braai area everything! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

one of the best places i have stayed, the setup, atmosphere is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food packs provided so diverse and tasty. The self braai options and what you get is great. Would stay there more than just one night.

We chose Morning Glory Cottages as a stopover on our drive from Johannesburg to Cape Town without any prior recommendation, and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. We stayed in the 'Honeymoon Suite' and aside from the beautiful accommodation, the setting and the location were out of this world. A fantastic way to break up a long journey, and all the praise to Lynette and her team for exemplary service.

The location is very accessible from Colesberg on the R58. Very intimate cottages. I was in the Chamomile suite - spacious rondavel with a creatively decorated bathroom. A big double bed (not two single beds joined in most places). The dim lights around the whole room provide that intimate ambiance (I was alone by the way). Bar fridge with all the goodies to end a long day of travel. Home-cooked supper meal for you to warm up in the microwave, while watching TV. REAL Nguni hide on the floor-I could see the J8 branding. The fan makes the room to be cool all round. A huge display mirror on real wood frame. Real KAROO feeling.

Beautiful location. Big rooms, nice and clean with everything you need. Lovely hostess too. Extremely peaceful location. Slightly more expensive than some places but not much and worth it. Apparently I have to use at least 200 characters so here they are!

Excellent accommodation with every comfort provided. Gratifying attention to detail with more than is usually on offer at similar establishments. A delicious supper with generous helpings. Definitely worth a return visit.
