Sehr schöne renovierte Zimmer im modernen englischen Landhausstil. Tolles Bad! Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der zugehörige Pub und das Restaurant sind wunderbar urig und gemütlich. Das Essen war sensationell und würde man in diesem kleinen Ort nicht wirklich erwarten! Kaysha und Guy haben uns perfekt bedient und waren super freundlich! Wir können dieses Kleinod wärmstens empfehlen und würden um jeden Fall wiederkommen , wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

I booked a table at The Running Horses with a view to having lunch there after going on a walk that was described as "strenuous". We didn't pay enough attention to that "strenuous", especially considering we're not young, and have not always been in the best of health! Suffice to say, we very much enjoyed our walk, but we arrived late for lunch - so late indeed, that the kitchen had closed. The staff were lovely about it, and the chef kindly agreed to reopen the kitchen for us. I had the risotto, and my friends had fish & chips, and they were DELICIOUS. Obviously chefs can't be expected to reopen their kitchens every time some old fool misjudges the length of a walk, but the fact this one did shows, I think, the commitment of the Running Horses to excellent service. It's a wonderful pub, and I will certainly go there again.

Visiting old University friends in Leatherhead, we returned for the third time to this excellent restaurant for lunch. It was sunny enough to sit outside, and as always we had a very satisfactory experience. The restaurant is to be commended for establishing and, most importantly and sadly unusually, maintaining a consistent high standard of food and service. Charming and friendly staff, thanks to all concerned.

Headed here after the Watermill in Dorking, again, had no decent beer mid-week. Should have gone to The Rinning Horses in the first place. A great welcome - even though by now a bit late in the evening - and a super meal. As one of our first choices from the main menu had sold out, they even tweaked a single course from their three-course Menu du Jour, to get us fed. All with charm, style and good value to boot. Thank you The Running Horses!

Amazing food, and amazing staff! We were so well looked after. Highly recommend the steak tartare and the T-bone! But ALL the food was incredible. Finally a pub that has a delicious menu and know how to ‘pub’ properly. Not a frozen restaurant-heat to be seen. They’ve taken the time to source their ingredients and you can absolutely taste the difference!

Really lovely old pub but the food was expensive and dreadful. Three of us ordered the duck. At £27 this main course consisted of two strips of duck breast and a few pieces of beetroot which were tough. Worse than that you needed a steak knife to cut the duck. We definitely are not complainers but it had to go back. One of our friends is a vegan and when I saw the vegan option on the menu I thought ,that doesn't consist of much. When it arrived it wasn't even a child's portion. Rubbish food at exorbitant prices. Nice pub for a beer except it's a restaurant now.

We shared a fish sandwich with chips for lunch. It was delicious. I tried sticky toffee pudding for the first time ever; I would order it again. Nice to find a pub in the area with great food and friendly staff. Love that dogs are allowed in pubs here. Beer was also great but I have yet to find pub where I didn’t like the beer.
