尼瓦哈勒曼斯 - 切茲艾琳飯店(Newhall Mains)

Posto sperduto a mezz’ora da Inverness nella bella campagna scozzese. Punti forti la gentilezza che abbiamo trovato e la quiete. Non ho apprezzato invece il confort in camera, sprovvista di prese di corrente in bagno, miscelatore e specchio sul lavandino ( dimentichiamoci il bidet quando viaggiamo ) ciabattine monouso e ho trovato molto povera la colazione.

Absolute Top Unterkunft. Wunderschöne Zimmer (Fraser Suited), stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr bequemes Bett, modernes Badezimmer, Munibar mit Getränken sowie hauseigener Whisky im Zimmerpreis enthalten. Wanderführer und Karte im Zimmer enthalten. Mahlzeiten ausgezeichnet sowohl Frühstück (Buffet plus warme Gerichte à la carte) als auch (zusätzlich zu zahlendes) Abendessen (Dreigängemenu) sehr lecker , frisch ,reichlich , mit grosser Auswahl und hoher Qualität. Personal durchweg nett, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Schöner Innenhof, mit Feuerstelle und umfangsreiche Getränkeauswahl an der Bar. Wenn man Glück hat,landet auch mal ein Flugzeug auf der hoteleigenen Landebahn. Lage ruhig, für Unternehmungen muss gefahren werden. Auf der Halbinsel Black Isle kann man wandern und häufig auch Delfine sehen. Nicht nachvollziehbar, wie einige Leute (v.a.bei Booking) hier etwas zu meckern haben.

Il ne manque pas grand chose pour que cela soit parfait … Lors de la réservation par téléphone j’ai parlé avec une dame dont je ne sais pas le nom et j’ai trouvé l’accueil plutôt froid … mais je voulais absolument aller dans cet endroit. Arrive sur place wouaw l’endroit est magnifique on est accueilli par un monsieur très gentil qui nous explique un peu l’histoire de la famille, du domaine. J’avais réservé pour le souper et on nous a averti que suite à une urgence le cuisinier a du partir bref on nous propose des alternatives avec des suggestions de restaurants. Le cottage est magnifique et confortable, cosy…rénové avec goût, il est propre (juste un bémol cependant devant la porte de la cuisine qui donne sur la cour intérieur il y a plein de petits « cacas » d’oiseaux ou de souris ? C’est dommage car ça gâche un peu). On peut faire un feu le soir pour se réchauffer c’est agréable. On nous apporte des boissons limonade et bière… merci. Il y a du café Nespresso c’est apprécié. Ce que nous avons moins aimé c’est le déjeuner qui nous paraissait très « cheap »… le service plutôt froid et on avait l’impression que les gens n’attendaient qu’une chose c’est que l’on parte … c’est dommage ! Voilà le seul point négatif … revoir l’accueil car l’endroit est stunning !

Wonderful place. Warm, fantastic staff. Excellent food notably a delicious breakfast. A pleasure to return to after a day exploring the highlands. E-bikes at the disposal of guests are a good way to roam the neighbouring villages. Overall decorated with very good taste.

Dear Rebecca and Euan, it was such a great experience to visit Newhall Mains. The location is very beautiful, the breakfast and dinner we had very nice. We have wanted to get to Newhall Mains since we heard about it first opening….being pilots, we love that it has it’s own air*****! We had booked last summer and unfortunately had to cancel just before going due to some family issues so were really excited about getting there over the early May bank holiday this year. And we were certainly not disappointed! What a gorgeous property in a stunning setting. The property has been refurbished to the highest of standards and the two bed cottage we shared with friends was just perfect - classy, homely, quality….. Flying there was everything we expected and more, a beautifully kept grass *****. Being greeted by owner Euan and his colleague Chris with umbrellas to shelter us from the intermittent rain (it is Scotland after all!) and being shown around the property. There were five of us in total in our group, ourselves and another couple (sharing a two bed cottage) and another pilot friend who had a one bed cottage, both units exceptional. We enjoyed a few drinks in the stunning bar before enjoying a wonderful dinner - food was excellent, service perfect. A lovely sleep in the super comfortable super king bed, aided by the absolute tranquility of the location. Buffet breakfast was a great choice of superb quality cereals, fruits, cold meats and cheeses and the smoked salmon was exceptional. We left late morning to start our flights back south and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we will 100% be back. Highly recommend.

We had an unforgettable couple of days at a beautiful cottage in Newhall Mains. The owners have managed to create an idyllic and meticulously designed retreat and the ideal place to unwind. Hospitality and service are unmatched and we felt truly at home, as soon as we arrived. We will definitely be recommending this amazing hotel to our family and friends and we can’t wait to visit again in the future.

Loved the place. Such a great stay. Would very strongly recommend to anyone who wants a special trip away or is passing through the Black Isle. Euan and his team couldn't have been more helpful, the drinks and food were delicious and I loved cycling to Fortrose on the eBikes!

Amazing stay at Newhall Mains at the end of April. The staff make this place magic - Chris, Euan and kitchen and cleaning staff are just lovely. The setting is country pastoral and the Catriona cottage is simply beautiful, spacious. The giant kitchen, fireplace, and the fitting room were incredible. We cannot recommend this place enough.
