Very nice place and location, amazingly decorated. Pleased with the fire in the room after a long day walking in the highlands. Awesome breakfast, especially if you like berries and salmon !! However, dinner at restaurant is from a different level. The pasta were overcooked and the sauce had no special taste, I was really disapointed and mostly ate the mussels. Veal Milanese côtelette was oily and too salty. The mushrooms saved the dish. A bit sad for a place claiming at arrival to be recently Michelin recognised …. In room service requires improvement : no refill of water on 2nd day, same for herbal tea..

絕對是頂級的住宿。漂亮的房間（弗雷澤套房），佈置時尚，床很舒服，浴室很現代化，迷你吧提供飲料和威士忌，包含在房費內。房間內包含健行指南和地圖。 餐點很棒，早餐（自助餐加點菜熱菜）和晚餐（三道菜菜單）（額外收費）都非常美味、新鮮、豐富、選擇多樣且品質優良。 工作人員始終友好、能幹、樂於助人。美麗的庭院，設有火坑，酒吧提供多種飲料。如果幸運的話，您甚至可能會看到飛機降落在酒店自己的跑道上。位置很安靜，但必須開車才能出去。在黑島半島，您可以徒步旅行，並且經常可以看到海豚。我不明白為什麼有些人（尤其是 Booking 的人）會對這裡的事情抱怨。

Il ne manque pas grand chose pour que cela soit parfait … Lors de la réservation par téléphone j’ai parlé avec une dame dont je ne sais pas le nom et j’ai trouvé l’accueil plutôt froid … mais je voulais absolument aller dans cet endroit. Arrive sur place wouaw l’endroit est magnifique on est accueilli par un monsieur très gentil qui nous explique un peu l’histoire de la famille, du domaine. J’avais réservé pour le souper et on nous a averti que suite à une urgence le cuisinier a du partir bref on nous propose des alternatives avec des suggestions de restaurants. Le cottage est magnifique et confortable, cosy…rénové avec goût, il est propre (juste un bémol cependant devant la porte de la cuisine qui donne sur la cour intérieur il y a plein de petits « cacas » d’oiseaux ou de souris ? C’est dommage car ça gâche un peu). On peut faire un feu le soir pour se réchauffer c’est agréable. On nous apporte des boissons limonade et bière… merci. Il y a du café Nespresso c’est apprécié. Ce que nous avons moins aimé c’est le déjeuner qui nous paraissait très « cheap »… le service plutôt froid et on avait l’impression que les gens n’attendaient qu’une chose c’est que l’on parte … c’est dommage ! Voilà le seul point négatif … revoir l’accueil car l’endroit est stunning !

Just wrapped up a lovely girls weekend at Newhall Mains. The staff was wonderful (Ruth was especially helpful!) and the hotel itself is just gorgeous. Comfy beds, soft linens, beautiful scenery, and their very own highland cows! We had a fantastic Continental breakfast every day and a really delicious dinner one night in the restaurant. There's a ton to do in the area and the hotel provides free use of some e bikes. It's a short 30 minute drive to Inverness if you want some city time too. Very highly recommend them! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Came for a special birthday dinner, bed and breakfast. A beautiful, peaceful spot, the hotel and its grounds immaculate, the room very comfortable and clean with a super-cosy bed, though I would have liked the option of a firm pillow. I also expected more upmarket toiletries in a 5 star hotel and maybe a choice of herbal teas, but these are suggestions rather than complaints. The public areas are exceptionally stylish, with some very good paintings by Scottish artists on the walls. Lovely cocktail bar and restaurant, with huge windows looking out over the surrounding countryside. The continental buffet breakfast was delicious with a great choice. Dinner wasn’t exceptional considering the prices, but enjoyable enough. However, the staff were outstanding, friendly, attentive and welcoming. We live locally so will certainly come back, and book the sauna next time!
