松加斯旅館

I stayed at the hotel for 10 nights. It was very comfortable, clean and friendly. The in-room fridge was useful, and the owner could be contacted if you needed anything. I was here on a combined leisure and work (remote) basis. It's in a good location for local amenities: small supermarket, bakeries, tavernas, café and pharmacies. You are also in walking distance or short drive to the Famagusta Viewpoint, Amphitheatre and Local Folkloric Museum. There are also a couple of churches nearby. For those who do not drive, there are local buses including those to Paralimni and Aiya Napa. I would recommend the Shongas Inn and would definitely stay again.

Was very glad to stay at the Shongas Inn despite being in Cyprus for an unfortunate reason. It's a 'homely' place to stay (in the best possible way) and Daniela, the owner, was very welcoming, helpful and well-informed. The room at the inn had everything I needed and was within walking distance from the Amochostos Hospital where I needed to be every day. Was sad to leave the Shongas Inn. If you stay at the inn, you have to eat at the Shongas restaurant next door, also run by Daniela. Great food, great service, lovely decor and - totally anochronistic. Walk round Deryneia before you go to the restaurant, see the huge strawberries lining the street and see for yourself the dearth of respectable establishments to eat and drink - and then, go and sit in the restaurant! You'll think you're on another planet! 😆
