南本德智選假日套房飯店(Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bend South)

The property was perfect for us--so quiet, so comfortable, so convenient, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. I always rank a hotel according to the bed first, and I loved this one! The one thing I would ding is that the breakfast bar wasn't always stocked as well as it should have been (coffee pot was often empty; the last day we were there they ran out of plates near the end of breakfast).

Love this brand new Holiday Inn express! Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and pillows, great breakfast & friendly staff. Conveniently located near grocery store and close to downtown Bend. Would stay here again & again!

The room was nice except that there was hair on the bathroom floor and the tub was grimy. The big let down was breakfast. The selection was poor and was not maintained. Turkey sausage was the only meat available, the omelette was dry and hard and the orange juice was empty. I would not stay here again.

Breakfast was ok the first day but the other 3 days they ran out of almost everything. Coffee and Hot water was empty often. They were not prepared for the holiday week. But everything else was great.

Exceedingly clean, staff was super helpful. Night light in the bathroom (why doesn't every hotel do this!?!). Convenient to the friends we were visiting. Will definitely be back next time we are traveling through Bend.

I have no critique really, everything was exactly as I would want it. Good location, clean, comfortable, nice staff, great breakfast variety every morning. We had the queen suite with living area which was really nice… There for four days so I wanted us to not feel squished. The room was over 400 ft.² two queen beds and a sleeper sofa with a coffee table so very comfortable. I guess my only room for improvement is housekeeping… The pandemic kind of changed housekeeping at hotels and it’s not always clear how to communicate what you need. I still want a complete service every couple of days and that sometimes throws the staff since it’s not part of their normal routine. Just a mention to the front desk needed, but it would be nice if that could be set up when you check in.

The beds are amazingly comfortable and good choice of pillows for picky sleepers. Good choices at breakfast and staff working very hard to keep tables clean. Good shades to block morning glare and street view. Room clean and serviced daily (not all hotels are doing this anymore). Sufficient parking. No TV one night/next morning due to DISH issues- not the property's fault but did detract a bit from the stay.

Since COVID, zero of the hotels where we’ve stayed have offered housekeeping. Some claim it’s because they’re “green,” others admit they are short on staff. The Holiday Inn Express Bend provided a change of towels and a clean and well-stocked breakfast each morning. The staff was pleasant and hard-working. While I was there I decided “this place is really pleasant.” I won’t bother to shop for alternatives next time we’re in Bend. Even though we were in town for a big lacrosse tournament, our corner of Bend was quiet and convenient.
