The hotel is clean. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is very good. You have to drive to get to restaurants, but not far. The refrigerator in our room didn't work, but it wasn't a problem for us. We just kept the water in the car. I told staff about it at checkout and they wrote a work order. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel was probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in. I travel quite a bit and stay in a vary wide range of hotels so that is saying a lot. The staff was the absolute most helpful and friendly. The price was absolutely unbeatable. The breakfast was great and the attendant made it even better with the small talk and hospitality. We can't wait for our next trip this way so we can stay again!

Breakfast bar was staffed and well-maintained. Fitness center was better than expected (multiple machines, dumbbells up to 50 lbs and an adjustable bench). Clean room. Even though it was next to the elevator it was still very quiet. I arrived right after a shuttle from the airport, so the wait to check in was about 15 minutes. The desk had two attendants, so it could have been much worse.

Very nice pool, hot tub, sauna area. Also had a game room & pool table, so lots to do for families. Great hot breakfast in the morning. Many nooks and side rooms that would be useful gathering places for people in multi-room parties.

My only problem was that they advertised $5 for parking a night while I went on my trip. They said they raised the price to $10 a night. I was disappointed they wouldn't price match their posted price.

This hotel is by far one of the best I've ever stayed at. There were 5 of us in 1 room and we were all very comfortable. I had 2 kids with me and they really enjoyed the pool, rec room, and game room. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and sauna! When my nephew got ill we were able to go to the 24 hour convient store they have in the hotel and get him some meds. It was extremely helpful! The staff were all very friendly and the hotel was clean. It was a bit far from a lot of things, but only 15 mins from the activities we had planned and i kind of liked that it wasnt "in town" and was pretty quiet.

The Baymont is a wonderful place to stay and have a great time with your family. It is clean, great amenities and the staff is amazing. Breakfast is fresh and delicious every morning. If you are looking to stay in Des Moines, the Baymont is the place to be!

The hotel amenities are fantastic, especially for families. The pool is large and clean, the breakfast bar has a lot of variety, and there is a game room with air hockey, pool tables, and foosball. The beds were comfy and the room was large and clean.

Great stay. Friendly staff. Spacious, clean, & comfortable room. Nice breakfast with lots of options, appreciated the extended hour on the weekend. We enjoyed the large, warm pool & the hot tub was a great way to relax.
