得梅因/西塔碼頭旅館(Marina Inn des Moines / SeaTac)

The location was quiet, the breakfast had waffles, bagels, yogurt, bananas,apples, juice, coffee.

Good value. Rooms and property are well kept and clean. Only a couple concerns. Housekeeping didn't refresh soap or shampoo in a 4 night stay. Mattresses, pillows, and towels desperately need a refresh. Good location and a good value. Despite the minor negatives, we'd stay there again.

Very friendly staff, they were very understanding and accommodating when a traffic accident caused a last-minute change in itinerary. The room was bigger than I anticipated. Most welcome was a full-size desk. Not only for business travelers, but also for kiddos to spread out their toys. The property is very close to the "main drag" of Des Moines Marina District, where dining options are plentiful, but is located one street over so very little traffic noise.

What I liked about this particular hotel was that it was so close to the bay, the outside was well groomed. What I disliked about this hotel was everything else. I am not too sure how this property ever got a 4 star rating, let alone having one of the highest ratings overall. More specifically, the bathroom had pee all over the back of the toilet. there was dust everywhere. The carpet did not look it was vacuumed in areas other than where you walk. I bravely walked around barefoot and the soles of my feet were black. The glass tops of all the surfaces had dirt and crumbs underneath them. I had several bags to carry up the second floor via only stairs and the front desk would not help me with them even when I asked. My key card needed to be re-magnetized every time I wanted to reenter my room. And one time I had to wait for 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to re magnetize the card. I would not stay at this hotel again.

I was VERY concerned at first as it is close to the airport. When I pulled up and stood outside for a while, literally every 5 to 10 minutes a very big passenger jet was going over as it landed!! However, I don't know how the place could be this insulated, but I did not hear them while in the room!! In fact, it ended up being the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in!! No doors banging as they close, no kids running down the hall, no people talking in the hall!

The Marina In. Was a cute, quaint property near the water and convenient to SeaTac, we were only here for a brief overnight. The beds were comfortable but we could have used extra pillows (though we didn’t ask I’m sure they would have been provided). The staff was nice and the Inn was close to dining and the walk to the Marina to see the sunset was nice. We had a very early flight so we didn’t have breakfast but it is available.

This location is very average. The minimal continental breakfast is underwhelming. The gym is worthless. The hallways are not carpeted so you hear everything. The room we had was large and clean. The staff was nice. My wife asked for a room with a view and we got on with a view of smokers area.

2 nights different rooms. 1st floor, 2 queens, large smart tv, vynal flooring, zippered mattress bags, crisp clean sheets. Happy with room 2nd floor, 1 king, small regular cable tv, crunchy carpet in places, found 6"long black hair between sheets. Bed was more comfortable.

Marina Inn is no frills hotel. My room was made up every day of my 10 day stay. Clean and neat. Don’t expect a mini bar or pens and writing material in the room. My only disappointment was the lack of variety in the free breakfast. All in all a good hotel at a fair price.
