I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. After a 12-hour drive, all we wanted was a hot shower and a decent place to rest. Instead, we were greeted with the shocking news that there was NO HOT WATER. Even worse, they didn’t bother to inform us about this issue at check-in. Finding out after paying $140 for a room is beyond unprofessional. When we brought this up with the staff, their attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. It was clear they had no intention of resolving the problem or compensating us in any way. The lack of concern for their customers’ basic needs was appalling. For a place that charges this much, the bare minimum should be functioning hot water and proper communication. The lack of both made this stay a complete nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and book anywhere else. Best Western in deridder, Louisiana, is an absolute disgrace.

not bad stuffy room no outside air. pool closed early- staff nice room service to Earley ..coffee in room not very good. creamer bad. desk people nice. maybe best bet for Deridder Louisiana. across parking lot from Walmart and next to waffle house a plus

Chandra did a great job making sure everything was fresh & replenished for us on Saturday & Sunday mornings…muffins, bagels, scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, potatoes, waffle mix, biscuits & gravy. She constantly kept the serving areas & tables clean. In addition, Chandra was friendly, asked if we needed anything, & was eager to make sure everyone was enjoying their breakfast. By the way, my family enjoyed the self-dispense Nestcafe machine, with the cafe moca & vanilla moca hot coffees. Thank you!

Nice size room, clean hotel, nice location, good breakfast, friendly staff. Beds and pillows are very comfortable.Noise level is good - no loud traffic, only a train whistle occasionally, which I happen to like. Recommend.

BW in DeRidder is an excellent place to stay. It’s clean, safe, well maintained, friendly and professional staff. I would highly recommend BW when you’re visiting DeRidder when looking for a quick overnight trip or extended stay!

i would not stay at any best western again. they do not care about what your needs are. i was a evacuee and had my pets with me. they would not allow my pets in the build so while the rest of my family was in the room i was trying to get sleep in my vehicle so i could keep the pets cool and out of harms way
