德海貝格小屋飯店(De Herberg Lodge)

The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was very neat. There is an air of skimping though - we had to go and buy our own toilet roll as it seemed there were rations. The food was awful! Don’t have dinner there! All the food was pre-cooked and warmed in the microwave. The food was flavorless and prepared on the cheap.

If you ever find yourself in the area, don’t hesitate to visit this tranquil oasis. Excellent service, clean, value for money. The dinner and breakfast were also great!

The stay at the lodge was pleasant; the room was clean, even if we had to buy our own toilet roll (we got half a roll on the first day). The TV worked, and it was a safe environment. The meals were, however, awful. If I ever stay, there again, I will definitely not book Dinner, bed and Breakfast. You have to order before 12 each day and they microwave it for you when you arrive for dinner. We had mystery veg on more than one occasion. The chicken salad was made with frozen nuggets, and the Greek salad came soggy from all the vinegar and pepper added to it.

I am vegan, and the owner was able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. De Herberg was unfortunately fully book so i was moved to Daybreak lodge. I had a loadshedding free experience my entire stay. Absolutely loved my stay at Daybreak!

Thank u for the stay at your Hotel everything was on its place it was clean and we didn't have a short of anything it actually felt like home , the manager /owner was so friendly and welcomed us with a warm opened heart

Best stay, happy with everything, loved the jaard, we took pictures for memories. Rooms was nice ans spacious. Loved that the room had aircon. Definitely worth the stay, staff is very friendly and help to the best of there ability

I will recommend this lodge to anyone anytime, I hate sleep overs, but this lodge gave me a homely feeling, the room is spacious and comfortable, I will definitely sleep at the Herberg lodge again with my next visit.

We had a lovely stay in beautiful and clean self catering accommodation. Breakfast was delicious and service was excellent. Staff were friendly. Thank you also to the friendly host. This was really an oasis in the desert and we won't stay anywhere else on our next visit.
