I want to say thank you the two nights we stayed. Nikki and Ian made us welcome when we arrived, and shown around to the rooms. In the mornings the Breakfast was out of this world. From 3 male adults down Dawlish to play in darts competition. will recommend for the friendliness, welcome, the clean rooms and the breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at Lyme Bay House immensely. From the minute of our arrival to our departure, a warm and friendly greeting, full information and a clean and beautiful environment, calm and organized atmosphere. In the mornings Nikki was amazingly bright and cheerful,greeting each guest with her radiant light of enthusiasm and joy. Breakfast was laid out in an array of beautiful colours of fresh, prepared fruit along with a variety of cereal, yogurts, juices and jams followed by a wonderful, perfectly cooked, hot, full English breakfast, toast and hot drinks. Ian was also a perfect host keeping us company at their homely and stylish bar as we exchanged conversation and enjoyed Ian's extremely interesting views gained from his extensive knowledge through world travel and his career path. Apologies to Ian if we kept you up but we were truly captivated. We both slept soundly all night in our amazingly comfortable bed and look forward to another visit it was first class all the way, excellent value. You deserve every success 🙏

We have just returned from a lovely short break at this excellent b and b in the lovely town of Dawlish. The breakfast was superb and Ian and full of life Nikki were brilliant hosts. There is a small walk into town and there are also bus stops right outside and opposite if you don’t fancy driving anywhere locally. Rooms are light and airy and overall the place is immaculate. I had booked a room that was upstairs initially and when Ian saw that my wife was severely sight impaired he very kindly rearranged rooms so we could have a more suitable ground floor room. Thank you both so much. We would recommend and intend to return in the future.

We have just returned from a visit to my Aunt who lives in Teignmouth. We stayed here and were delighted with the room and the service we received from Nikki and Ian. The room was a large one with a four poster bed and a lovely bathroom with a shower over the bath. Everything about our stay was great and thank you Nikki and Ian for helping to make our holiday so enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend Lyme Bay House.

We will be definitely going back. Room was lovely and clean , location is excellent and across the road from the beach and close to all amenities . Ian and Nikki were excellent hosts and they served an amazing breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Requested a single room on the Monday when I phoned , as was only staying one night, (came down from the West Midlands to surprise my sister-in-law and husband on their 60th diamond wedding anniversary), I was given a king size superior bed, charged £85, no breakfast given at this time of year, thought this was a bit steep in price as it is not a hotel, silly me did not ask the price before accepting the booking!! Better staying at the lovely Blenheim hotel on the corner, but they are closed atm for renovations.
