We do at least two family trips every year and always go for an island vacation in December. We have been to Tahiti and the Maldives a couple of times and decided to try Fiji. I rely on TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. The hotel organized a short transfer flight from Nadi airport to a harbor and then we got on to a speedboat to take us to this remote island paradise. We had a rousing welcome reception and got two adjacent villas. Our Villa had access to a lovely private beach. The whole island is just 10 acres, with only 16 villas and beautifully laid out. The staff is extremely courteous and within a day addressed us by our names. We are vegetarian and are typically apprehensive about the food, but this place was an exception. We were able to select breakfast lunch and dinner items to our satisfaction. Every member of the staff was friendly and courteous. The diving, snorkeling and other activities were seamlessly organized. The sunset cruise were simply fabulous. The highlight of our trip was a lunch on a private Sandy Cay” a private ***** of land 10 minutes away from our remote island. The 2 1/2 hours we spent there was surreal. A big shout out to Chris, Grant and the entire team. Our best Island vacation ever. Plan to take the helicopter over next time. We found paradise. We will definitely come back!
