Arrived to check in at 11pm as it was a 24/7 reception. I tried to call them so they were aware of my late arrival, but on 4 times of trying I had no answer so I just had to hope that someone was there to let me in. When I arrived I rang the bell behind the door to be let in by the receptionist, but there was no answer. I waited over 15 minutes and someone finally opened the door (no apology) After checking in, I went straight to my room and headed straight to bed. After settling down, I had a knock on the door from the receptionist saying he put me in the wrong room and I had to move to another room. So picked up all my things and went to the other room. Settled down again to find the receptionist knocked on the door again to say I need to sign for the new room! I asked if this could have been done in the morning? But he insisted that I sign it now... It was all very unprofessional. The new room he put in was exactly the same as the other so no idea why he needed me to move me to another room? It made no sense at all. After finally settling down for the 3rd time, my sleep was again disturbed by noisy neighbours. I went to complain at Reception but again....nobody there...Finally getting to sleep at 2am....I woke up in the morning quite groggy. To suddenly find that a cleaner just came into my room while I was sleeping!! I just wanted to get out at this point. I don't recommend this hotel atl all and won't be visiting again

This is a typical Premier Inn. Comfortable beds, decent food and polite service at a reasonable cost. Nothing stands out from other Premier Inns, but at the same time it did what was needed for an overnight stay on a work trip.

Returned to this venue for a meeting recently. Staff were helpful and the Deputy Manager Stavros is always keen to ensure a good experience is had by all. The free on-site parking is very useful, as is the proximity to a supermarket. The connected pub/restaurant is nice and the food was of a good quality and served in a reasonable time. The only issue here is that the even if you've paid for your meals, you're only guaranteed a seat if you pre-book a table, which I didn't think was clear at the time of booking - but the staff were quick to arrange this for me. The hotel wi-fi has been upgraded and is significantly better than it was a few weeks ago. Bedrooms are clean and good value. The meeting room is very basic, and came with 12 sheets of printer paper rather than pads, which was a slight shame; but on the other hand it also came with a projector which was very helpful. All in all, it's a nice venue for a meeting and the staff make up for any small issues you may have by being helpful.

Having stopped at this hotel for on average four nights per week every time has been excellent from Stavros the assistant general manager to all of the staff who have dealt with any issues regarding your room to parking your vehicle I can only recommend this hotel as excellent and the brewers fayre is also an excellent place to unwind after a busy day

The hotel was average but a bit expensive for the standard of accommodation. Premier Inns used to be good value for money but this has slipped. There were several items damaged or in poor condition and the room was not as clean as expected. There apparently was WiFi available but this was not made apparent and there were no instructions as to how to log on. There was no usable mobile signal which is surprising and we could not use our hotspot for WiFi. The light switch beside the bed was damaged and the table lamp although PAC tested in 2022 was in a damaged and dangerous condition. The heating controller was showing the battery needed replacement. The carpet was only superficially vacuumed and was otherwise dirty.

Creaking floorboards and almost constant movement in room above kept us awake all night, plus a car alarm and a jet engine hoover at 7am! Did not feel relaxed and rested at all the next day. Rainfall shower meant no shower unless I wanted to get my long hair wet, which I didn't, and there was no hairdryer either. Only saw one member if staff at check-in. No one around to check us in for breakfast and no one on reception when we left. Breakfast was nice when the tubs were replenished as no bacon, sausage or fried eggs when we arrived. No orange or apple juice either. Bed was comfy and everywhere was clean.
