My husband booked me this trip as a Mother’s Day surprise, since we have two small children at home. It was a nice solo night away for me. He made all the arrangements, double checked with management the day before that everything was arranged and taken care of so I wouldn’t have to worry about anything. Check in was a literal night mare. The person helping me was so dismissive. At first gave me a hard time because my last name is not the same as my husbands. It’s 2023… I was at the front desk for 43 minutes. 5 people were checked in beside me while I was there. The worker checking them in offered every single person a free breakfast. A couple of them even said “breakfast isn’t included in my stay” in which she replied “I know, it’s just to help you enjoy your stay with us” I was offered nothing. After finally getting my room key I asked if I could would be getting breakfast and he replied “no”. I left a message for management who was in at 8am since there was none there when I checked in and nobody called me back. I never received an apology. Upon checkout same thing. The hotel is nice and the rooms are good. However being made to feel welcome when your paying upwards of $300 for a standard room and being treated decently is literally BARE MINIMUM. Your options in the area are endless so do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Pathetic excuse for hospitality.
