The hotrl is beautiful and the workers are nice, but the sheets and bed covers are not quite clean.

I love this hotel, i have stayed many times. I had friends over, they were loud, but the hotel did not complain. The only issue, a man entered my room at 8 20 am, and left as soon as he saw us. I did not like that

Stunning hotel. Superb service though one each department.
Shame they have ‘modernised’ the rooms. In my humble opinion they are now totally out of character with the elegance of this magnificent building.

We stayed in the main hotel, the room looked a bit datedvand needed renovating, the lounge area, toilets where cold and had poor heating in these areas, there was evidence of renovation work underway, I'm sure once its all done it will look much better

I was placed on the 2nd floor which is undergoing refurbishment. Pretty dirty on the corridor but the room was nice & clean. Had an issue with my room locking - it wouldn’t when I shut the door and took several attempts for it to do so.

Very noisy as wedding on below our room, then lots of talking and banging of doors into the small hours......seems to be a function venue with many parties going on, so not the place for a peaceful break. Room was clean and beds comfortable, but no toiletries or toilet roll (at all!!) in the room....no apology when I went to reception

We stayed for three nights at the Blackwell hotel. It was a beautiful location some parts of the property in need of minor maintenance. It was a little bit rowdy at times because of wedding events but we were not disturbed. The room was nice but very warm and not enough clothes hangers and no bottled water. We enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi facilities and the bar menu was varied. Overall 4/5
