伊桑艾倫飯店(Ethan Allen Hotel)

We have been staying at Ethan Allen Hotel for the last 4 years . This time we were put in a “suite “ which was pretty run down . The sitting area had holes in the furniture and stuffing coming out of the chairs . There was no phone and our tv had no volume . Maintenance did come by and tried to rectify the situation. We ended up changing rooms which was fine . Then at the bar my martini glass had a chip in it and a huge crack . Our Bartender was texting the whole time and never asked how our drinks were . The bar manager came by and made me a new drink . They could have comped it but didn’t. We were there two nights and our email stated no maid service but can get towels replaced. When I asked the maid for new towels she said no pretty rudely. I was told I had to go to the front desk . She thought we were there for only one night . The carpet is worn throughout the hotel and the furniture dated . On a plus the beds are very comfortable although finding chipped red nail polish in my sheets was pretty gross!

This place is anything but a 4/5 star hotel. It is absolutely disgusting. Our couch had cigarette burns in it , our neighbors toilet blew up , the pool was moldy green, the list goes on. 10/10 do not recommend.

Disappointing to say the least and certainly a PR embarrassment if in fact the hotel is owned by the Ethan Allen furniture company. Facility looks like it was last updated in the 90's. Rooms were dirty, dusty and service was less than willingly helpful. Pool area was littered with other peoples garbage that was not thrown away and towel bin near pool was empty. Choose another area option if in Danbury and in need of a hotel. Lastly, I am a Marriott Ambassador Elite member so I stay in hotels frequently for work. Only selected this hotel with my family as it had an outdoor pool.

Property seemed like it was recently renovated and very clean and open in the common spaces. Restaurant had good quality food. The room was good quality and only issue was that the shower mechanics were very unusual - thought it was broken (not intuitive to pull the handle out from the wall to turn on the water).

Poor staff service Room was mediocre Floor slopes so the pens roll of the desk ******* gave me a handicapped room, which I did not reserve

Nothing was working, ice machine, TV just looking for simple comforts you expect after driving all day and paying for those things.

Service at checkin was quick,friendly and professional. A minor issue with the HVAC was addressed and remedied immediately.
