5 stars out of 5 post Covid, post supply chain issues as this boutique hotel has been working hard to get everything back up to the speed and quality hotels aspires to before Covid halted the world. If you’ve travelled since the start of Covid, you most likely found many changes and things in need of repair or in short supply at most hotels, but how a hotel strives to make the best for their guests and gets on top of things now that they have been able to start getting supplies in a more normal fashion and time frame shows you which hotels should earn a top rating. The staff at this hotel, from management, operations supervisor, sales manager, front desk, breakfast buffet, housekeeping and maintenance all go out if they’re way to make sure their guests needs are met. The place is kept very clean. The included breakfast buffet has a variety of hot and cold items, and is constantly being replenished and kept clean. Your kids will get a kick out of their automated pancake machine! There is always hot coffee and tea available for you in the lobby; while your room also has its own coffee maker stocked with supplies. I stayed in the winter, so I can’t comment on the outdoor pool. There is a gym, a business area with a guest computer/printer and meeting rooms available to reserve. Conveniently located off I-84, walking distance to some restaurants, and a quick drive to an indoor bounce adventure park, supermarket, and the Danbury Fair Mall, makes this Holiday Inn Express a great place for both business and family travel.
