丹伯裡希爾頓花園飯店(Hilton Garden Inn Danbury)

When i arrived at 8 pm, i was told that no room was available and i would have to stay at another hotel for example "the Holiday Inn" i refused to leave the front desk and after 30 minutes i was give a king size bed instead of 2 double beds. The next day we were given 2 double beds.that evening when we came back to our room, our beds were and towels were not cleaned. We were told we had to request fresh towels and made bed when we initially came to the front desk however we had to argue for a room and didn’t see that notice

Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lobby & room were clean, except for the major water stains all over the window valance. The TV was large and had a decent number of channels. Cons: the ice machine on our floor was broken and there were no vending machine at all. The bathroom was not stocked with toilet paper so we had to ask for some extra. The carpets in the hallway were bubbling up, which someone could possibly trip over. The view from our room window was of all shipping containers. In general, the entire hotel is outdated & needs updating.

This is a great little hotel with a indoor swimming pool and gym which is always nice when traveling for business. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it was great being able to have a beer at the end of the day at the little bar. It feels very cozy, only three seats at the bar, but the lobby has some great seating options next to the fireplace. So the bad. The room. It was not clean. The bed was obviously not turned over, and there were hair not only on the pillow but also when lifting the sheets. Because I arrived late (10pm) I didn’t bother to ask for clean sheets, and just used towels to lay on. The heating system also didn’t work and was either on (85 degrees) or off dropping to the 60’s (December). This was room 154. If not for this experience, I’d give this hotel a much higher rating, but they need to work on cleanliness.

My room was not available on time, so I had to wait until late evening to finally check in... The afternoon staff said this was due to late check outs and rooms still being cleaned (at 330p). The lobby was full of customers waiting for their rooms to become available. Def a first i my experience as a hotel guest. Oh, and when I finally got my room I had a full box of someone else's leftovers sitting in the fridge from the previous stay.

The hotel was fine. BUT being woken up on a Saturday morning before 9 o'clock is UNACCEPATBLE.!!! The room wasn't cheap, it's my weekend getaway and outside my window is a huge bucket truck with workman making unbelievable amount of noise. Still waiting to hear from the manager about some compensation.

First night sink proved to run very slow. Told front desk but was not there long enough to be a major issue. First night was a strong odor in hall as someone was smoking

The bed wasn't very comfortable, the toilet didn't work very well. No hot water and the shower didn't drain. But they gave me 15% off. ha. Other than that the lobby was clean and service was good.

There was no hot water and my toilet was clogged when I arrived!
