洲際達拉斯市中心金普頓皮特曼飯店(Kimpton Pittman Hotel)

The hotel is opposite Frasers steak house and Komodo restaurants. If you have a room in the front the loud music from outside does not stop until 1am. Dallas wealthy obviously dine at these restaurants and the exotic cars are all lined up out side, which only the Rolls Royce and Bentleys are quiet. Everyone else in the supercars loves to rev them on departure or arrival. Not ideal for sleeping. Ask for a room at the rear would be my advice. Room service comes on throw away plates and cups with plastic knives and forks, very strange for a hotel in this price range.

The room and bed were comfortable, fresh, and modern. The service at the desk was kind and efficient for both check-in and check out. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so I can’t rate it but the coffee/tea morning service was nice to have and preferred to what is usually offered in a room with a mediocre machine. The valet was understaffed and the driveway was very small. It could only fit two parked cars and two cars in the loop. We returned from dinner on a Tuesday night at 9p and waited for 20 minutes. It just wasn’t fair to the valet guys running around and unable to keep up with no place to hold the cars as they ran back and forth. The shower had no pressure and couldn’t keep a temperature, alternating between cold then scalding, it was very frustrating. It was a 10p shower on a mostly empty floor, this shouldn’t have happened.

This hotel was really as good as all the reviews I had read about it but we had no hand soap in our room-there was a big bottle of bath soap, so we had soap, it was just inconvenient to have to use the one bottle in both places. Another little problem was that the fan in the bathroom could not be turned off, leaving a background noise that was just irritating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone from the valet guys, the front desk, the bartenders were extremely accommodating and friendly, without trying too hard… just seemed like naturally good people working there and it really put us at ease and had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

I would like to preface this review by saying that I was told "if you leave a bad review we will sue you for libel". I really wanted this to be a positive stay as I was already under so much stress. I booked this hotel for convenience for my spouse to go to the hospital where I was located. Everything seemed great until I started getting fraud notices on my Credit Cards and realized that my wedding ring was missing out of a small bag left in the console of my vehicle. It wasn't left intentionally but the stress of the day was a factor. The only parking is valet and it is 3rd party. They said they looked at their video footage and didn't find anything. However they seemed to know the ins and outs of the police report filing process. You get charged a great deal of money for parking, you're told it is a secure location and then you get 4 fraud charges on your credit card and lose something precious to you. Only to be told..."not our fault, denying your claim, no proof, yadda, yadda, yadda. Do not stay here if you are valeting. They don't care and from all the other bad reviews it's common practice. No one should have to be put through something like this and treated like garbage. I was told I would just be a "disgruntled" guest. Yes I'm disgruntled...I lost my wedding ring and had to cancel all my cards 3 days before Christmas. Sad.

This is my second stay at the Kimpton Pittman Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and in an area to do a lot of things. Customer service is great and they are always so helpful.
