What a great venue for a family celebration! Unfussy, yet attentive service - Beth was smazing! All courses were delivered in a timely manner, ensuring we weren't rushed, nor wondering where our tood was! What a great family afternoon!, 3 Courses, plenty of great food (& alcohol) and outstanding service. Can't wait to come back!

Went for pizzas at lunchtime. Great pizzas, the best we've tasted in England. They were tasty and light, and not too salty. We took the two-for-one option.. It was lunchtime, and hot, so it was empty inside, and quite busy outside. The service wqs very professional, and we could see the kitchen staff were working hard.

Excellent bottomless brunch and wonderful waitresses. Great value for money and a great location. The food was fantastic and the Prosecco was very tasty. We had the salmon and eggs; it was excellent. Fresh lovely salmon and the eggs were delicious. Lovely setting too and the waitress made a real effort with us. Would 100% return.

Me and my fellow colleagues went for some breakfast today. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. I asked three times for my coffee which never came until we was paying the bill and we were overcharged £5 each. The service was very rude and we felt like we wasn’t welcome. They charged extra for chips that we didn’t have! And the chef was smoking a pipe in the garden and sneezed and didn’t wash his hands.

Nice atmosphere and good menu with well spaced tables in the restaurant area and friendly, attentive staff. Pub area also nice and welcoming, nice aesthetic if you enjoy a traditional looking pub environment.

The Kings Arms is really convenient for the train station in Berkhamsted, just a short walk away. The room was clean and comfortable, although the corridors look tired and in need of some TLC. The food in the restaurant was really good - fabulous freshly cooked pizza in the wood-fired oven for dinner and full English for breakfast.

Very overpriced for what is effectively a B&B. Albeit a nice restaurant. But rooms are accessed via the dustbins and the stairwells haven’t been decorated in years. Rooms are musty and clearly stinking hot during the summer as there were three fans. They do warn about parking, but it was 10 minutes away, not five. And you need to keep updating your ticket if in the long term parking. Very painful. There was another hotel down the road which had parking right on the back, but didn’t try it. Location is good for outside restaurants and there seemed to be a lot of choice although Berkhamsted pretty underwhelming.

The room was very disappointing. Cold, radiators not working. Cracked bathroom sink. Bathroom lights not working. Breakfast not good. Soggy bacon and bread, hard avacado. would not stay again.

The room I had bore no resemblance to the photo - very misleading. Local parking is expensive and difficult. Some staff were helpful, others not so much.
