excellent service and care from all the staff. Car parking free and convenient. Pub next door, could have been more comfortable and better food, but overall it was ok.

Clean comfortable room, easily accessible for local amenities. Would visit again, highly recommended!

You know what you are getting with a Travelodge - a clean, decent, safe room at a great price. My room at this Travelodge was much bigger than usual. Theres no restaurant here, but its on a leisure park with restaurants like Harvester etc, so its only a big deal if you absolutely have to have a hotel buffet breakfast.

Staff (Kelly) was very friendly and helpful!! Clean and tidy, near a leisure park, with plenty of parking and restaurants etc.

Upon arrival everything seemed fine . We were leaving the hotel to go and get our evening meal . Upon opening are room door there was a distinct smell of ***** ( ****) . The staff and the manager was aware and the situation but was not kept informed on the ongoing situation .

What a fantastic holiday, made particularly enjoyable by the friendly, helpful and wonderful staff at the Travelodge Merthyr Tydfil. The welcome we received was heart warming. Our room was an amazing size, and spotlessly clean. Our pet greyhound was welcomed perfectly. The area that this hotel is located has a variety of fast food outlets, restaurants, pub, cinema and ten pin bowling. The location was ideal for exploring Wales. We highly recommend this hotel. We are definitely going to return to this amazing hotel. Thank you to all of the staff, for your wonderful service, welcome and total friendship.
