米斯蒂科聖布拉斯(Mistico San Blas Boutique)

Let me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice. But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath. The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it. I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep. Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh

Gorgeous rooms, peaceful, nice location and great staff!

Wir hatten dieses Hotel für 8 Nächte gebucht auf Grund der Beschreibung, der Bilder und der guten Kommentare. Das gebuchte Zimmer war ein Standard Zimmer das in der Beschreibung 20 qm sein sollte (diese Beschreibung ist bei allen online Hotelsanbietern angegeben). Wir bekamen das Zimmer 106! ÜBERRASCHUNG!!!! Es war nach unsere Messung 11,40 qm. Noch dazu sollte laut Beschreibung jeden Tag zwei Flaschen Wasser auf den Zimmer gestellt sein, was nicht der Fall war. Ebenfalls sollte es ein grosses Frühstück geben , was auch nicht der Fall war . Wir haben uns an der Hotelsrezeption und bei Hotels. com beschwert. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf ein Superiorzimmer ( Zimmernummer 205 )nach vier Tagen. Das Zimmer war größer und angegeben mit 25qm in der Hotelbeschreibung , was auch in diesen Fall nicht stimmte ( eigene Messung 18qm ). Achtung !!! Nicht vorher bezahlen und bei Ankunft das Zimmer prüfen!

A pousada é uma graça, um ambiente tão agradável com uma energia maravilhosa. Você é recebido com chá de coca. O quarto que ficamos era bem apertadinho, mas tudo tão aconchegante que isso pouco importava. Sentimos muito por não termos achado vaga para mais dias, com certeza seria nossa primeira opção! E por alguns dólares pode incluir café da manhã, delicioso. Todo o atendimento da pousada é excelente, desde recepção, pessoal da cozinha, tudo! Limpeza excelente, não via um pó. Super pertinho de tudo!

I want to thank the staff at the Mistico for making the arrangements to pick me up at the train station given the time of night that I arrived. It must have been close to 10:30 pm by the time I arrived at the hotel. I was helped up the flight of stairs with a very large suit case (I'd been traveling for a few weeks) and provided with some hot tea. Right on schedule my taxi arrived the following morning and took me to the airport, it was so seamless. It was just what I needed to make my connection from Cusco to Lima. Thank you for all of your help!

A nice hotel to rest for few nights before heading to the mountains. Nice hot water for shower, comfy beds, good internet. However only odd and uncomfortable encounter we had was in the early morning like 4am a staff came into our room while we were asleep without knock. Not sure if she came to clean but she said something in Spanish and left. But we stun at the situation and unable to go back to sleep. We report the incident to the front desk later that morning, they said they would investigate abs the matter did not occur again. Other than that good

Before arriving, I communicated with the hotel about arranging airport pickup. I sent them my flight info beforehand but when I arrived at the airport, nobody picked me up. I contacted the hotel and it seemed like they forgot to arrange for my pickup, which was a huge red flag. After hiring a taxi on my own, I arrived at the hotel. The receptionist was friendly and efficient with check in but didn’t acknowledge the airport pickup mistake until I brought it up. I stayed in room 103 and it was super noisy at night. You can literally here everyone walking and talking outside in the hallway as noise echoes. Very unpleasant and none of us were able to get a good night’s rest 3 nights there. The location was desirable as it was not too close to the main square but only an 8 soles Uber ride each way that took about 10 min. One thing that was positive is their express laundry service. They charge 15 soles for every kg of laundry and it takes about 3 hours to complete. All of our clothes were cleaned in the promised time, so we were grateful about that part. Overall, I could not recommend this hotel. It’s just too noisy at night and the walls are too thin.

We had a fabulous 3 night stay in the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel. All of the staff (Leslie, Laura, Marjorie and Mari) were super friendly, attentive and accommodating. When we first arrived my wife was really struggling with the altitude and Leslie sprung into action (completely unprompted) bringing coca leaf tea, and some type of rose oil to her right away, saving the day. Leslie went above and beyond in assisting us ! The location of the hotel is hard to beat, right in the heart of the historic San Blas neighborhood. We ate breakfast at the hotel, made to order by Mari and it was delicious!! We would highly recommend anyone staying in Cusco, to stay at the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel !

Charming little hotel in a nice area. Very clean. Small rooms but comfortable. Street is a little loud at night if you keep the windows open for ventilation. Great views of Cusco from many streets around the hotel. Many restaurants nearby. Overall good experience!
