Stayed for one night great location, staff excellent 👍🏼

Very good location, decent breakfast with varieties, private parking

A comfortable and friendly stay. Room adequate for our needs but what made the stay was the service provided by the two you ladies present throughout our stay. We had our dogs with us and not allowed in the breakfast room. Could have been an issue but the staff kindly laid out a breakfast table in the lounge. Excellent service.

The staff were so lovely and helpful at Rothay Garth. The room was big and warm with tea and coffee making facilities. They provided a great breakfast and plenty on site parking within easy walking distance to the centre of Ambleside and all is facilities. A great stay

The Staff were very nice and breakfast was nice poached eggs were a treat, good services. Unfortunately that personal touch was missing. I had a ‘Superior ROOM’ but have to say it was far from superior. Although it was clean, carpets worn, mattress uncomfortable sagging on the edges, rather cramped. Bathroom was behind some cupboard doors. Plenty of tea and coffee.

Very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice linens. Nice toiletries. Extra toilet out in hallway which is very nice when there are 3 adults in the room. Owners very friendly. Breakfast has great choices. Would definitely stay again. Good value for money. Nice lounge with fireplace to hang out in evening and morning.

We stayed for 1 night at Rothay Garth , the young lady on reception was lovely & very welcoming & helpful. Breakfast was ok 3 of us had poached eggs as part of our full English unfortunately they were over cooked. The rooms are tired looking & dated & not what I’d expect for £140 a night .

Such a lovely place to stay! It is extremely convenient for walking into Ambleside. We were welcomed upon arrival and shown to our lovely room. Breakfast was delicious! Would recommend!
