We took family from overseas to McGorys for dinner. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpfully. The food was beautiful. All the fish is sourced locally. We were informed there would be traditional music the following evening. We returned the following to hear the music in the old traditional bar. Overall we all enjoyed both visits to McGorys will definitely visit again. Sharon - Co Kildare

Arrived in Culdaff after a Mizen to Malin cycle well after the kitchen had closed, however, the staff were superb & allowed us to phone in our orders & kept the kitchen open to accommodate us. The food was amazing - I would highly recommend the burger. Staff were terrific and couldn’t do enough for us. We had completed a charity cycle, so they gave us a drink on the house - thank you to all & in particular, Scott the manager.

Our table was booked for 7 o’clock and when we arrived it was ready and we were informed as their dinning room getting renovated the staff let us know we were in another room and showed us in and we were delighted with the whole set up and the atmosphere was excellent. Staff were really friendly and very attentive. Also staff member Sarah was very informative on dishes and made us feel so welcome and relaxed

We went to mcgroys for dinner on Sunday we had heard it had been taken over this can be a good thing mostly on arrival we were greeted by the manager she was a bit sharp but it was busy so we understood she showed us to the table and one of the waitresses came and took our order which took approximately 45 minutes to come I had ordered the crab ravioli which was very nice until almost every mouthful I got a piece of crab shell not good I I told the waitress about this when we were finished eating the manager came over and said I understand you got some shell in the ravioli grinning at me and said sorry about that and walked away. If she had said have a drink on us or take something of the bill this would have been a much better review I have to say the waitresses were very good the manager not so much would I go back proberbly not

A jewel of Inis Eoghain It's an impressively relaxed hotel with more an Inn vibe. Cosy front bar. A good menu, reasonably priced. A very friendly and relaxed place to base yourself for touring Inis Eoghain

Lovely experience to be repeated. A fabulous time in a fantastic hotel . Revamped and immaculate .Staff excellent . Really enjoyed. Evening meal in bar unreal just everything we wanted. Breakfast good but not its best. Cook fat on bacon and don’t deep fry sausages .😀
