An unsurpassable location. Over looking the Cross of The Valley of The Fallen. You get free entry to the basilica if you stay here. The Dinner and Breakfast are tasty and plentiful- you don’t choose but that’s ok as it’s part of the charm. The rooms are comfortable , clean and quiet. Yes it’s a wee bit shabby in places but it’s old, it’s a working retreat, it’s lovely! Stay somewhere else? Maybe, but you’ll have lost out massively!

Muy atentos. La estructura se podría poner más moderna, sin embargo el personal es increíble. Han estado pendiente de toda necesidad, con educación, tacto y orientación al cliente. Hotel bien situado, centrico y con habitaciones aceptables aunque tienen los armarios abiertos no muy practicos, limpio y comodo su punto flojo el personal poco profesional y nada atentos, imposible cambiar un postre pues no tenias fruta, la comida desastrosa ejemplo de un dia 1er plato un trozo tortilla de patata, 2º plato almondigas que parecian de bote ..

My friend and I spent a lovely weekend at this elegant and friendly hotel. The room, which was well-sized and equipped with wonderfully-comfortable bedding, had two beautiful balconies overlooking the village rooftops, each with views of the historic monastery and the mountains. But what made our stay particularly special was the superb service from Maria and all of the staff, including Pablo and David Fons. We were treated so well here and will definitely be returning as well as recommending this hotel to all our family and friends.

The room was clean the bathroom was clean the cleaning service was good but the furniture and the floor was a little bit old and damaged. The breakfast was ok and the reception staff was very nice. In my future visits i will also stay at this hotel
