"We had a light lunch, service was very good and nice friendly welcome. BUT, we ordered a charcuterie board, which was disappointing, not a lot there, meats were dry and hard and served with toast!! A shame, we have both stayed and dined here before and has always been very good. Also, NO Pizzas!! a main item on their menu."

"I stay in a lot of hotels around the world and you know immediately when its going to be a great stay. This has been one of those stays. From the moment we walked in through the door to the moment we left the Queens Inn has done everything right. Upon arrival we were welcomed and asked to take a seat in two lovely wing backed chairs in the bar area and offered a complementary coffee or tea. The checkin paperwork was brought to us in a relaxed friendly manor - and this is how the stay progressed. Everyone has been super friendly and engaging. Our room was great, lovely homemade chocolate brownies in the room were a treat, and just one of lots of other thoughtful touches to make you feel at home. We ate in the restaurant for both nights. Food was excellent and again service fantastic. I would happily come back and recommend to anyone else."
