Zimmer wurden vor der Anreise nicht beheizt, da die Zimmer ausegekühlt war wurden die Zimmer für unsere Übernachtung auch nicht warm. Zimmer sind abgewohnt und viel zu teuer.

Wunderbarer Weihnachtsmarkt

Last minute booking on our way home to the UK from Poland. NOT disappointed! Great location in a fabulous, friendly city, with heaps of culture and amazing architecture! Convenient for both the railway station and the city centre, and literally just around the corner from the incredible Staatstheater, an early 20th century archetectural design masterpiece that is still ahead of its time... Arriving at the hotel by car was easy; there was private car parking adjacent to the hotel, and check in was a pleasure. The lady manager was brilliant - I enjoyed practising my poor German language with her - "Sehr schöne Schuhe, liebe Frau!". She was so helpful in helping us to check in and showing us to our rooms, and very proud of Cottbus and its wonderful attractions. Thank you so much, Madam! I recommend paying the extra for the breakfast here, as it is of superb quality, and served in the super-quaint restaurant at the corner of the building - a GREAT way to start the day! Overall, a superb stay, with everything we needed on hand. Also a wonderful city, with a great history and culture so, if you haven't been here before, make sure you do your research before you come and stay!
