Basic and a little run down rooms but perfectly comfortable with good large beds. Not all light switches and sockets worked. Good little restaurant open all day with breakfast included. Great views of the sea and a small on-site pool. Very friendly owner and staff keen to help.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Tahiti Hotel. It was in a quiet area. Well, quiet for now. There's a new road out the front of the hotel that is not in operation yet. I think the authorities are trying to make the area a big beach destination. The hotel is right across from the Gulf of Guinea and a 10 minute walk from a great beach where a lot of locals go. There is a small charge to get in and you can by beer there. Back to the hotel, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Really good breakfast, an upstairs space where you can watch the day go by and a nice pool and pool area. It is a bit isolated but only about a 10 ride back to the city centre. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Tahiti again and one of the reasons that I will go back to Benin one day.
