事情的起因是，機場裡一名舉著飯店標誌的男子主動提出提供接送服務，並稱這是飯店的服務，而且完全免費… 然後，當我們到達港口換乘船時，他開始要求超過出租車費用的費用... 當他被提醒免費服務時，他說只有手提箱是免費的;))) 飯店管理簡直沒用！ ！ ！ 這些數字太可怕了！ ！ ！一切都很舊、很髒、很剝落… 幸好我們預訂了一天… 不要被漂亮的圖片欺騙…photoshop

Потрясающее райское место. От отель брали экскурсию на озеро Баракай, очень приветливый персонал, разнообразное меню, шикарный бассейн. Провели 2 ночи.

Nature at it's best with the resort being the only thing on the entire tropical island!! Not only is the journey to the island epic on the little boats powering thru the azure green waters, the destination itself is nothing short of a jewel. Blessed with clear waters, a rich marine ecosystem & amazing facilities. The accommodation where we stayed were the sunset villas right on the beach. I think there were about 20 odd where u step out of the room right on to the beach. The views are mesmerizing wherever you choose to enjoy it from. The out door sofa, the hammock or the deck chairs. Kudos to the management for taking effort to design cohesive structures that go with the tropical island theme. The other available accommodations are further in land in a ground + 3 structure. The restaurant & the coffee shop have some great treats awaiting for any time of the day. The attentive & courteous staff make it even more special. If you are a nature person be ready for close encounters of birds at your feet during the breakfast or even the monitor lizard ( a native of that island) gently ambling by your table!!! The facilities offered by the resort included snorkelling , island hopping tour (with picinic lunch) & also a guided trek. Enough options if one is keen. The room itself was well appointed with comfortable bed & an overall wooden ambience that makes you feel at home on the island. The sunsets are something real special and we had the opportunity to enjoy a dinner set on the sands by the hotel staff. This surely is the stuff where special memories are made. Given that it takes a flight, small road trip & a boat ride to just reach the destination, it s totally worth the effort just to be there. Highly recommended for special occasions, families, couples or even friends.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had the best time! Staff are wonderful and so friendly. The food is good and drinks are cheap- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are basic but are in keeping with the vibe of the hotel. You really are staying on a little paradise island. The rooms have no air con but the fans are well placed to keep you reasonably cool. The pool was great and open quite late. The sunsets here were stunning and the boat to and from the main island was quick and regular and available most of the evening/night if you should want it. If you are looking to live the simple life while staying here then we can’t recommend this place enough

The best thing about staying in Discovery Island Resort is that it provides an island-feel, isolated setting from the chaotic urban atmosphere that you have in Coron town which is sadly urbanizing fast and feeling too much touristy already compared 10 years ago , the last time I visited Coron. Here, you can still feel that you really left the city and settled in a more slow life communing with nature and the sea which I believe most people look after when they plan to have their vacation in Coron. The resort doesn't have a Dive Center anymore. The plan to change the business name is on the works. It partners with Neptune Dive Center in town for their guests who wish to experience diving the wrecks of Coron. This place has basic amenities, clean rooms, inviting pool and a fairly wide area to do basic hiking. For me, the most important asset this resort has to offer is the friendly and accomodating staff that took care of me during my entire stay. Shoutout to Rizza, the resort manager, Paul and Ja, the restaurant managers and the boatmen: Noel, Edward, John Rey, Kimson and Tito Nars. Yes, you need to be transported via a banca to go to Lualhati Port in Coron Town and they will fetch you free also from there before 9pm and you can request also to be fetched even late in the evenings as long as you advise the reception desk for a small fee. Overall, I had a relaxing stay in this resort. I am mostly out for the whole day as I did diving and island hopping during my stay here but going back in the evenings to rest and recuperate in the pool was a bliss. The food served in the restaurant also taste good. A perfect setup I could say. This has been a good vacation for me, a great way to start my summer in the Philippines. In case I'll be back again in Coron, I will again choose to stay in this resort.

Discovery Island Resort was one of the best hotel experiences we had while visiting the Philippines. If you want a personal, professional, and relaxing experience, go to Discovery Island Resort. They treat you like royalty and don't expect anything other than a thank-you in return. The hotel is located on a small island 5 minutes by boat from Coron town, and they have their own free boat service to take you to the island and back to town whenever you want. The island is a nice, peaceful oasis with a beautiful view, a clean pool, and a cozy restaurant and bar. We lived in their native huts with our own bathroom, a bed with a fan/AC, and a small table. Not luxurious, but everything you need since you are only going to stay in the hut for sleeping anyway. They have cute dogs (Rambo is a charm) and very friendly staff. Wanna use the pool in the evening? No problem; they turn it on. Wanna go to town? No problem; they sail you there in their own boat and pick you up when you want. Want to experience some tours? No problem; they will arrange it with the best guide possible. Wanna fly with your drone? No problem; they will lay out a board on the beach so you have a platform for takeoff and landing. Need to take the ferry at crap o'clock in the morning? No problem; they will sail you to town and arrange for a tricycle to pick you up at the harbor. No matter what your needs are, they will do their best to meet them. We prolonged our stay to take an extra tour because Coron's tours are amazing, especially with TJ as your guide (ask the hotel about him), but also because the hotel was such a pleasure to stay at. We had a reunion of old friends and classmates here and while it sometimes was physically tiring, it was well worth the trip. The resort is well maintained though certain portions were undergoing renovation. It has a nice beach front and we had 2 dinners on the beach to maximize our stay. It might be difficult to access some places in the resort as the terrain is up and down and not all stretches are evenly paved . Certain rooms also pose a challenge as they are a couple of stories up with no hand rails to hold onto. At night, it can be a bit dark to walk around in some areas. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The resort staff was helpful from the time we were picked up from the airport to the van ride to the private pier to get on the boat to bring us to the island resort. Food was plentiful with a wide variety to choose from. You can opt to go island hopping or just laze around the swimming pool. Truly a trip worth taking and one for the memory books. Two thumbs up.

We stayed at discovery island for 3 nights. If you want something quiet and close to Coron town, that is the place! The room was inside a private bungallow, it was big, nicely furnished and perfeclty clean. The restaurant was good and not expensive. Staff were super nice and very helpful. They pick you up from Coron pier when you want and drive you back anytime, it's only a 5 minutes boat drive. We recommend this place to watch the sunset from their peer!

The location and views are idyllic if you want to escape the bustle of Coron. A 10 min, free boat ride is available to and from Lualhati Park, a few mins walk to town. The staff, landscaping, pool and huts are welcoming and tranquil. The onsite pets are friendly & don't beg. We had a family fan room with seaview & it's own hammock. The food is good. We brought our water as it is not free. Our only issue was that it looked like snorkelling was available, but the surrounding mangroves have jellyfish, so you have to take a trip. Otherwise, a slice of paradise like being on a secluded Island.

I can’t say enough good about this place. The staff are delightful. The cottages are authentic and very spacious, all with incredible views. The beds are a little hard, but that’s not a big problem. The bar and cocktails especially are lovely. The pool is relaxing. The sunsets, oh the sunsets, are just amazing. It’s so nice to be away from the hustle and battle of Coron and able to relax at the end of a long day. Can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely stay here if I’m back in Coron.

This place is beautiful- a very calm base for time in Coron. The location is perfect, and the boat to go too and from coron was easy- even when the sea was too rough one night they got us back another way! Staff incredibly friendly, and the food in the restaurant is really tasty, and cheap. The pool area is great for a relaxing day. There are cute dogs too (puppies when we went!) that are well looked after and very friendly. Rooms themselves lovely and a great sunset view from the balcony. They will also help you book your tours and get you back to where you need to be when you check out ☺️
