Not very good amenities. Staff appeared disinterested in serving consumers. Room was clean and quiet, but hot and stuffy.

The rooms are definitely not soundproof. I could hear everything next door and above. Annoying.

I had to cancel my trip. So I didn't stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites. But I'm sure it is as good or better than any other hotel.

Been visiting Newberg area for years visiting my son and his family. We usually stayed at another location but on our last trip that location was so bad we left early to avoid extending the disastrous facility. We tried this place and absolutely loved the facility, the staff, and the breakfast each day. Definitely will stay here again in future visits to my family there. The little touches they did to make me feel welcome was the icing on the cake. Thank you for the excellent visiting accommodation.

The hotel was clean and the room was very nice, although it faces the highway and was a bit noisy because of traffic passing all night. I used the fitness center which appeared clean but the piece of equipment that I chose to use was not functioning properly, there were no cleaning wipes and there weee only two towels on the shelves. I reported it to the front desk—they had no idea about the malfunctioning machine and gave me some Lysol wipes to use. The front desk workers were helpful, but it was disappointing that the problem hadn’t been reported in the past. There should be a regular maintenance check of all equipment.

The water frequently was only hot in any setting of the faucet and shower handle. It prevented showering as the water was too hot. The front desk clerk at checkout was unable to understand how to check us out when we paid cash. She mentioned the wrong rate, then gave us the correct price. When we gave her more than the price and we were waiting for change, she said we owed more money. This went on for a few minutes until we convinced her about the math. She also had difficulty counting the cash we gave her.

After a long drive, we truly appreciated the friendly and fast check in and great room!

Stayed here as a family during the Thanksgiving weekend. Only upon arrival and asking, we find out swimming pool was not working. That was a disappoin**ent. In the room, we see hair clip from the previous occupant which was still present and there was gum on the ice bucket. Not sure how well the room was cleaned before we moved in. We typically enjoy the complimentary buffet breakfast, which we did during this trip. So that was comforting.

pool out of order, but clean hotel, nice staff, and good breakfast (though please have a dedicated hot water urn, it tasted like coffee)
