"The house is located quite far outside the town of Corniglia. You either go by car or have to walk 15 minutes from the town to get there. It's not right on the seafront. You can see the sea from the house, but there's no direct access, and it's not on the beachfront. You can hear the train. It's a house where the people who run it live, and they've converted the ground floor into five rooms for rent. Our room smelled damp, and we had to keep the window open and the air conditioning on all the time. The bathroom floor fogged up from the humidity. We went in the summer. The staff is not at all friendly and seems overwhelmed. They're not hoteliers, and it shows. You have to tell them what time you'll arrive, otherwise no one will be there to let you in, and you'll be left stranded on the street. As for breakfast, it's meager, and if other guests have already eaten, you'll miss out and have to ask them to replenish it. Just when you think that's all there is to it, someone comes to your table and tells you what they can make that day, depending on what they have. A place to absolutely avoid. Very expensive and the quality is terrible. Not recommended."

"The guesthouse is conveniently located near the train station, accessible by bus with departure times generally synchronized with train schedules. Alternatively, you can walk up a few steps for exercise. The guesthouse owner is very welcoming, and the property features a garden courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast and conversation in a pleasant atmosphere."

"In fact I didnt really go bc they canceled my Booking reservation unilaterally since I had technical problems with the online registration. I just finished walking all five villages in Cinque Terre. I stayed in so many walker friendly places. This property is VERY UNFRIENDLY to walkers. At some point they called me petty for having problems with the online registration."
