The service in the cafe was horrible. I kept having to get up from my table to find a server and ask I what I needed. Did that twice and their attitudes were not good. I called for an extra blanket and I was told that I had to go to the front desk to get it. Called the front desk a few times, was put on hold and operator never returned. I had to go to the front desk. Valet was very good, Dustin and Humberto were very pleasant. I would say the service given to the guests needs improvement big time.

Esta muy buena la propiedad, el cuarto muy limpio y bueno, solo tenía que avisarles que por favor hicieran el cuarto ya que me toco un dia eran las 3:00.pm. Y no estaba limpio, y al final de la estancia, nos estaban cobrando el estacionamiento, el cual nosotros no traíamos carro.. solo revisen los cobros extras por si les pasa.. lo demás excelente ubicación el personal muy amable y recomiendo mucho .

Great location. Are struggling a bit with staff like other hotels. Room was clean but there was a dust and hair ball on the floor. Stained linen. Had minor issue with additional charges which they finally resolved. Hotel however is excellent in general.

Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate us. My son had his wedding reception there and it was beautiful. I’d definitely stay again. Front desk staff was amazing.

We had a terrible experience. The electricity went off for more than two hours and there was no staff at the lobby area to help in any way. The building didn’t have a generator so we were lucked in the building all that time without air conditioning or any way to get out.When we called In the morning to request a later check out for the inconvenience of not been able to sleep for hours during the night due to the heat they said the system was down i they will call back, they never did. They ended up coming up the the room to ask at what time did we plan to do the check out. The experience was really terrible. No one offered to do a refund for the inconvenience.

Solid four star hotel. Little dated rooms especially bathroom but nice area, super friendly staff, and I’d stay here again.

The common areas of the hotel were lovely, the staff was pleasant. We always feels less important when booking through a 3rd party, and The Hotel Colonnade was no exception. We were placed on a floor that was under maintenance, with floor fans everywhere. Plans to meet with business associates were quickly changed, as we did not want them running an obstacle course to get to us. The room was relatively clean. The rainfall shower head was nice, but the lack of water pressure made it more like a drizzle. Housekeeping entered our room at 8:15am without knocking or announcing themselves prior to entry. We called prior to booking to inquire whether room service was offered, and was assured that it was. We had an evening meeting and did not want the hassle of dining out after. After checking in, I called down to ask where to find the In Room dining menu, only to be told that it was only available Thur-Sat; this being Wednesday it was not offered. When I mentioned this when checking out, the representative apologized then told me had I booked directly with Marriott I would have known this. (By the way, I checked the website and there is nothing to indicate that there is limited room service) This was a totally unacceptable answer for so many reason, the least of which I was not even told on the phone! If hotels do not want 3rd party bookings, then they should not offer it. The two objectives, In Room Dining and meeting with associates were not met. Room was almost $300.

Some of the staff were very lackadaisacal.Asked why they charged me an additional $50 on.my credit card after the initial check in charge of $250 ,was fobbed off.The maids showed up at 4pm and I told them.not needed. Signage poor and easy to get confused in the labyrynth of rooms and floors.Zero concierge service.They assume you know all about Coral Gables and its offerings.Need a local map and also an internal map of the hotel.
