We recently organised our celebratory Gala night in the Glenavon House Hotel. From the minute we met James to organise the event, he could not have been more helpful. From advising us on meal choices, to seating arrangements and recommendations for entertainment, James knew exactly what we needed for our group of almost 300. Nothing was a problem to the staff of the Glenavon - we were able to have full access to the venue before the event began to add some of our finishing touches (although staff were more than willing to do this also). The event was brilliant from start to finish; great facilities, beautiful food and amazing staff. I would highly recommend the Glenavon House Hotel for any function or event.

Superb hotel stay. Quick efficient check in. Very attentive staff and a lovely room overlooking the river. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. What really stood out was how friendly the staff were in all areas of the hotel :))

Really great stay. Staff are so friendly and helpful especially Deirdre. We had a quiet room as requested which was really clean. Food was tasty and loads of it (meat is from one of the local butchers). Good cocktail selection. Plenty of parking.

Outstanding, I’ve been staying at this hotel for 30 years+, it is quite simply the best hotel for service, food, world class staff, cleanliness of rooms and the warmth from every member of the team is above and beyond. I’ll say it again as I’ve mentioned this before, all 5 star hotels should send their staff to this hotel for a week at least to see what 5star truly means. This hotel has a 3star rating with a 5star+ mentality. Nothing is too much, I asked for a banoffee pie for dessert, none available but if you’re here tomorrow I’ll make you one, guess what, they made me one. Magnificent 👏👏👏👏👏

Well I arrived with my two sisters on Friday2nd May to celebrate my birthday 30th April and my sister Sonia’s 5th May. Can I just say at this point we absolutely love this hotel and the staff. The staff are fantastic, friendly and nothing is impossible for them to do. We have yet to have a bad stay here. The pool and again staff are great. Everything is clean and we always meet members of the hotel who come to use the facilities and are again so friendly. Now the food!! What can I say absolutely gorgeous from breakfast to dinner I / we can’t fault it and again great staff. Because it was our birthdays they left us chocolates and a lovely card. Thank you all so much and God willing see you at Christmas. Yvonne xxx

Lovely hotel very nice staff at reception the room was lovely but very uncomfortable pillows definitely need updating other than that room was good absolutely spotless beautiful warm shower everything was clean and a nice warm room… I ordered food in the restaurant it was very tasty and there was lovely evening music so we enjoyed a few drinks

Such a fabulous lunch last Sunday in the Glenavon Hotel. Met family and it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was piping hot. Always a pleasure to visit here. Keep doing what you are doing, yous are the best. Looking forward to our next overnight stay here.
