Just got back from a wonderful overnight stay here. I can’t understand the negative reviews as for us the place was brilliant for a stop over. Firstly all the staff are helpful and excellent especially the lady in the farm shop who couldn’t do enough to help. Check in was easy and check out. The room we had was a lovely view. It was spotless with a comfortable bed and a nice basket containing crisps , apples , a Eccles cake as well as the usual tea and coffee facilities. Perfect for a night away. The bar area is comfortable for a few drinks as well. Plenty of parking available the car park is massive, We didn’t eat at the hayloft so can’t comment on that. However we had breakfast in with our room at the furnace and that was lovely as well. Quick service - nice drinks and good food. The b&b give you £15 per person for breakfast for the cafe and was more than enough for what we ordered. The farm shop itself is also lovely with lots f nice food and treats. We got some lovely fresh bread , meringues as well as other bits. I would recommend this place to anyone it was perfect for us and round the corner from the beautiful Bodnant gardens which we visited.

Went last year it’s was great . Hot beef on a long roll with homemade chips . This year hot turkey in a small round roll with frozen chips. What a shame , definitely was not as good as last year. 10.95 for the food which was not too bad . Only had water to drink so can’t comment on drinks .

Avoid ...the room was shabby and cold, shower broken,dirty floors, dirty walls, your only allowed £15pp for breakfast anything over you have to pay! What a joke this place is ! I complained but were not really interested. The bed was comfortable thank god!

Lovely location overlooking the river and 15 mins drive from the coast. The staff were friendly. The room was small but really comfortable and clean. Very quiet and private. Nice shower. Plenty of places to eat and the breakfast was excellent in a lovely old building.

Unfortunately the disappointing bad points about the accommodation spoilt our stay. On departure I explained to the management that we had loved the food and staff but that the room was a let down. The good bits;- the staff were wonderful, a warm welcome, smiley, happy, clearly a great team. The food in the restaurant was excellent, likewise in the cafe where we took breakfast. There is a well equipped farm shop and fresh milk for our tea and coffee were given to us. The bad bits;- No internet connection in the rooms as advertised, and other guests said the same. The headboards had very unpleasant stains on them. The valance were dirty. There was a chest of drawers, but the hanging space was a row of coat hooks with a jumble of miss matched hangers. The welcome A4 sheet of paper in the room was a crumpled mess. We stayed for B&B for two nights at a cost of £286….this room was NOT worth that money.

this is a review of the furnace cafe which goes with the food centre. ordered bacon sandwich and a drink. the sandwich arrived first with no cutlery. the "bacon" was warm ham between two slices of cold bread when i went to pay there were flies around the till which was near to the kitchen **AVOID***
