The rooms were clean and adequate, however, there are no coffee makers. And the air conditioning unit in the window sounded like a jet plane it was soooo loud, and cycled on and off all night!! Awful. The worst part was the breakfast food. How do you make horrible tasteless blueberry pancakes in Maine?! Nothing had any seasonings…

Location was the main draw, and I got a super deal through *******. An older property with a rustic feel, yet right on (and set back from) Rte 16, combining quiet and convenience. Desk was supposed to be open until 9 and it was not when I arrived at ~ 8 pm but they had keys waiting and a # for me to call and it went smoothly.

Did not enjoy our stay - for the $$ go elsewhere
everything was a little disappointing other than the staff!
The room was dirty, hair left behind the bathroom door by the previous occupants stayed right there for the 3 days we stayed, clearly the cleaning lady never looked behind the door.
The heater setting was impossible to regulate, either full on, which required us to open the window to survive or just off which meant waking up to a cold room (it was in the high 30s while we were there so that's no pleasant either).
The breakfast was also not great. they had no milk for coffee and the coffee was not hot (and we showed up right at the opening time so that must have been coffee for the previous day?!?).
They offer private hot tub 30 minutes sessions. We tried to take advantage of it but the setting was at 90 and in 30 minutes it only went up to 92 so it was uncomfortably cold in there. NOT worth it!
Overall we did not enjoy our stay and won't go back. For the price you can find better in the area.

Breakfast was very late starting so much so people were queuing. Room was outdated with broken furniture. Shower was poor and toilet did t flush properly. Came back one day to unlocked door presumably after maid had been in. Very poorly run. Not value for money!!

The inn looked nice from the outside. Our room was clean, but smelled moldy. It needs updating. We made a dinner reservation for 6:00 pm. There was no one else in the restaurant. They menu was very limited , the food was barely warm.

I did not realize the bathroom window had been left open at the top and the heat kept coming on during the night. Sorry about that. Very nice people.

Enjoyable weekend.
The inn is quaint New England.
There was no problem finding it.
Our room was nicer than the one pictured, it was clean, warm and bright on arrival.
Dinner by the fireplace in the “barn” was delicious and the server friendly and attentive.
