Head over to Jackson NH and check out some of the local farms, iconic covered bridges, and go back in time at Nestlenook Farm (where they offer ice skating, sleigh rides, outdoor firpits and s'mores) STORYLAND: The Kids will enjoy a day at Story Land or Santa’s Village, or if an amusement park is not your thing spend the afternoon at Settlers Green Outlet Village DOWNTOWN (The Village): As you enter the Downtown you immediately feel nostalgic. The best way to enjoy it is to park your car and explore. The small local stores such as Zebs General Store take you back to a Simpler time. Stroll along and browse the art galleries, toy and clothing stores. Unique Little trinkets can be found as you explore the alleys off downtown. Then enjoy dinner and drinks at one of the many local restaurants and bars (some offer outdoor seating) Sip your tea/latte at a local coffee shop or cool down at the ice cream shop on a hot summer day.
