chambre bien située avec vue sur la Vienne comme nous l'avions demandé. La chambre est bien agencée avec un lit de grande taille! Salle d'eau agréable et pratique. Une équipe accueillante et disponible.

Très satisfait de nos trois nuits passées! Accueil personnel parfait .Appartement très vaste ,bien décoré, bien équipé, propre, je recommande vivement, restaurant agréable et cuisine raffinées .Petites attentions , bonbons, eau, thé, café à notre arrivée .

Cet hôtel est assez propre malgré une odeur dans la chambre …, les moquettes ne sont plus guère présentes dans les hôtels ( et heureusement) la porte est difficile à ouvrir et fermer à cause de ce revêtement. Salle de bain minuscule le tarif est élevé pour cette prestation.

Fabulous service. Friendly and very attentive. Amazing food. We ordered the pork and the lamb skewers; both came with potatoes and ratatouille. Dessert was scrumptious; cheese board, a meringue dessert similar to pavlova and citron sorbet. Excellent setting. Definitely recommend.

The location of the hotel could not be better: right in the centre of town, with plenty of free parking and amenities around, and overlooking the river Vienne. Don't be put off by the somewhat brusque demeanour of the hotel owner; he warms up gradually and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The room was cozy, the bed clean and comfortable and the bathroom, again very clean, offered good facilities including a hot shower. The room had TV and good wifi but unfortunately no coffee/tea making facilities. The restaurant is an underrated gem. It offers a range of food from pizzas and chips to more sophisticated French dishes of consistently good quality. The roast vegetables were delicious and the potatoes gratin were the lightest and fluffiest we have ever tasted. The tuna steaks were outstanding. The ginger roast apple with shortbread and mousse was beautiful. It accommodates people with food intolerances (no dairy or egg in the mousse!). We would argue it is the best restaurant in the area, outperforming even (the posh) l'Estaminet in nearby Esse. We will definitely stay (and eat!) here again when we're in the area.
