德雷皇冠飯店(Hotel Drei Kronen)

Es un hotel pequeñito y muy centrico. Los baños necesitan una reforma pero estaba limpio. Calidad precio está muy bien, ya que la ubicación es perfecta. Nos dieron vistas al rio. Si podéis pedirlo aunque lo paguéis es poquito y vale la pena. El desayuno no es tipo buffet y cuesta 12 euros por persona.Está a 5 minutos andando de la catedral, de la estacióm de tren, del museo de la colonia y 15 min del museo de Chocolate. Si vais a ver mercadillos navideños la ubicación es perfecta. El perdonal de recepción muy amable. Uno de ellos hablaba un español perfecto y el resto hablaba ingles.La única pega las almohadas.

Reading some positive reviews, we decided to stay for 3 days in this hotel in August 2023. The hotel room is an adequate size even for 3, and the view and location are definitely nice. Here end the positives. Now the negatives: 1. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING and the sun shines on the river view rooms since morning, so it is very very very hot in the room already from the early morning hours. Even during the night we were dying of heat and the only resource to ridiculously relieve such heat was a totally inadequate fan. Paradoxically, the temperature outside (around 30 degrees) was lower than inside. 2. There is not even a refrigerator in the rooms, so if you want to relieve the heat with some water you have to drink it at room temperature, so as if it were broth. 3. If you are traveling with heavy luggage consider that the elevator does not go to the room floors, but to the middle landing of the stairs, so you still have to walk down a ramp. In conclusion: if you decide to stay in this hotel (whose location is definitely enviable) do so only in the less hot months, otherwise it will be like living in a sauna.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questo Hotel in camera tripla. La camera molto spaziosa con un bagno adeguato, anche se per noi italiani si sente la mancanza del bidè. Dalle vetrate della camera si poteva vedere il Reno e anche uno scorcio del ponte Hohenzollern. L’arredamento è semplice ma gradevole. L’hotel è situato sul lungo Reno e a circa 350 mt dal Duomo e stazione centrale. Noi avevamo incluso la colazione e la mezza pensione da fare nei locali del ristorante Cosa Nostra, situato nel piano terra dell'hotel. Colazione buona e variegata, la cena ottima ed abbondante. Ringraziamo la sig.a Valentina (che parla italiano) per la gentilezza e per l'aiuto durante le fasi del check in e del check out.

OK room, nice with the fan, although it wasn’t that efficient. Near the station - if you know where you are going! Check-in at night worked well, although it would be a help to know where the room was located.

Wir vier haben öfters Vertrau mir Wochenende. Ein Paar organisiert, das andere Paar erfährt nur was man mitnehmen muss. Wir waren dran und es ging nach Köln ins Hôtel drei Kronen. Perfekt die drei Nächte. Das Hôtel liegt direkt am Rhein und alles ist leicht zu Fuß zuerreichen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und mann hat alles was man braucht, von Duschgel über den Föhn zur Kaffe Maschine und Wasserkocher für Tee. Fernseher und Save. Die erste Nacht verlief etwas laut, es war Samstag und in Köln wird immer gefeiert. Die zwei nächsten Nächte waren dann aber ruhig. Alles in allem eine klasse Adresse. Vier vier haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Nice view, but renovation poorly with cheap materials. Poorly isolated. Loud from the trains. Old stores, don't cover the window. Room size o.k., but not cosy at all. Interest connection poor. Very small, dark, not renovated bathroom. Very loud, outside and inside the hotel. And the staff gets minus points! Also due to Covid rules

Our room did have a river view and you could see all the activity along the river walkway. A great place to walk along the river or enjoy the outdoor restaurants that also overlook the river view. Easy walk to the Cathedral. Rooms were quaint, clean and the beds and pillows were so comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The noise level was minimal which allowed a good sleep. We stayed on a Sunday night so I am not sure what it would be like on the weekend. Bit once we closed the windows the outside noise was gone. I would recommend this little hotel in Koln.

Late check in was easy. Communication was good. Room was clean. Great location, as it was central and only 10 minute walk to station. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. This is an old hotel that could do with modernisation but it was still ok. The bathroom and shower was small.

Ik wilde eigenlijk goed beoordelen maar dat lukte me niet om een of andere reden. We hadden een kamer met uitzicht op de Rijn geboekt maar was niet juist bij het hotel in hun administratie verwerkt. Dankzij man achter de receptie vrij snel opgelost. De douche/Wc ruimte was inderdaad vrij klein maar dat had ik al gelezen. Men had mss een wat grotere fles shampoo/douchegel dan dat ene minuscule flesje. Mss wat lepeltjes voor de thee en koffie en wat glazen
